- The hotel staff at reception were great. We were a little early so they stored our luggage while the room was being prepared. The hotel is very close to a metro station which is very convenient. The room and the building were very clean.

- The lifts are small. It is on a main boulevard and very noisy. Luckily, our room was at the back of the building and also had a balcony which was great. The number of restaurants in the area is limited, but there are cafes, grocery stores and pharmacies.
- Room design was bad (layout creates a narrow bathroom all around, closet door banged into front door). VAT was not included at booking, unlike other Portugal lodging we enjoyed. Cleaning came at odd times. Check-in was awkward...felt invasive and probing.
