This hotel has a location in the historic heart of Athens. It offers 4-star facilities, views of the Acropolis and Temple of Olympian Zeus, and fine cuisine. Free WiFi is available throughout. The Athens Gate Hotel is located 656 feet from the new Acropolis museum. It is opposite the Temple of Olympian Zeus and on the doorstep of the historical Plaka area. There is a bar/restaurant on the top floor of the hotel, offering breathtaking views of the city. Breakfast can be taken in the roof restaurant, or ordered from room service. There is also a bar in the reception area serving coffees, drinks and light snacks all day. Rooms with Acropolis view are offered on request basis and upon availability. All units are equipped with 27-inch (27 in) LCD flat-screen TV.

- The staff were terrific. We also loved the location.
- Location!!!, Plaka neighborhood, on the main road comfortable to get in and 2 min walk from every possible tourist pedestrian road attractions, shops, restaurants, coffee places, Acropolis view, rooftop bar ,and restaurant, amazing breakfast
- From the very first moment until the last, the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

- The room was basic but it served our purpose.
- Everything was perfect!
- yes. they turned air conditioning at night. woke every morning in a pool of sweat. Lobby bar never open. Bar on 8 th floor. manned by waitresses in the restaurant and if they were busy you were out of luck
