Tatamka Hostel

It was literally the perfect experience: people were incredibly nice and helpful, rooms and bathrooms were clean, showers are comfortable and towels are available to use!! The hostel is located in center and several public transport stations are nearby!

Not the matter of disliking but you just have to get used to sharing your room with other people who might have different schedules than you haha!!

it was easy to find - one bus from the airport straight to it (bus 175)- the showers are great for a hostel, so clean, so many toilets at the floor.- you get a room key and personal locker key for you only- the bed was really comfortable - was walking distance to everyyyy thing you wanna visit there- very friendly receptionists, perfect english speakers.- value for money (perfect)

Good value for money. The location is great as it is conveniently located within walking distance of the metro and train stations. The are also a lot of supermarkets and restaurants nearby.The 2 person room was great and almost felt like a regular hotel.It is also great that they have a 24-hour reception and you can leave your luggage in the storage room that they have set-up.

No elevator so you have some steps to climb if your room is on the upper floors. But that shouldn't be a problem for young and lively people that usually stay at hostels.Would have preferred that the check-out time was a bit later than 10:00, but it's not like it is not clearly stipulated beforehand.

I liked having my own private room with a bathroom inside. The location was great — right in the center of the city, walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets. I really enjoyed the neighborhood.

The room was very noisy, and I had to climb about four flights of stairs because there was no elevator. That was very tiring and uncomfortable.

Nice kitchen, quick check-in, nice lady at the reception, computer terminal, familiar place from past years, good location, grocery store nearby.

I'm not a fan of mixed dorms

Tatamka has an open layout and I loved the attached courtyard with hammocks, a gazebo, and even a grill. There was always coffee and tea available, and everything was kept very clean. The location was awesome with lots of parks and restaurants nearby. I would definitely choose Tatamka again next time I come to Warsaw.

A bit old.

My 4 bed dorm was a comfortable size. Cleaning staff does a good job.

Building maintenance is lacking. They also need to deal with the bugs. Come out at night and you will meet many. They need a lift.

We stayed just one night in the city, and the hostel had everything we needed. It was clean, we could check in at any time, and the location was excellent. The price was also very good, and we appreciated having a private bathroom

The only small downside was that in our room the beds were separated, but that may have been a miscommunication on our part.

Great location right by the grocery store Lidl and Old Town. Perfect for a short visit. Everything is clean and nice on the inside.

In room 14 where we stayed, the curtains didn’t cover even half of the windows so it was bright and happy all night because of the street lights and the shop signs. Our windows were facing Tamka street and it was so loud at times from the cars that we couldn’t hear each other with my friend.

Super good location close to everything and beds are comfortable and staff is nice

Super good location but if your room facing a Main Street be prepared for Loud cars racing till midnight , maybe it was just one night that I was there but it was impossible . also no A/c so you can’t close the windows . Other than that is a good hostel

The hostel is very well located.

The private room is truly awful. The rooms are in a basement with tiny windows literally on the ground of the building where every step/noise is heightened and bad air circulation

This hostel in very good. Very silent and clean. staff are very friendly and they are very helpful.

It’s well located and looks somewhat like the pictures.

Very bad value for money, basically no facilities nor common areas (just one outdated one). There was no space in baggage room, the showers were usually not clean, cleaned only once daily - and it’s the shower for 2 whole floors. Only one person on reception in peak hours, had to wait cuz she was on the phone with other customers. Cleaners are rude. They charge for a towel. Don’t provide ANY amenities. The building itself is VERY outdated and the “renovated” rooms are just repainted and have “new” ikea furniture. The bedsheets were super small and old. Definitely don’t recommend. Better options available.

I wish I could have curtains around my bed for more privacy. I wish I could have towels as well.

Spacious and loaded with facilities and exceptional location

Kitchen could be slightly tidier. But just slightly. It was great overall

Very well equiped, they have a washing machine and a dryer, common areas, iron, everything you could possibly need. The staff was very nice explaining everything.

It was a little weird to have elderly men and men in their 50s around, especially in the bathroom and the common areas. There is no upper age limit.

In overall, the experience was good. The place was clean, the bed comfortable and the staff member polite end helpful. The location was great, close to cafes, shops and centre.

The only thing I didn't like is the noise outside. I couldn't sleep half night, even though I was wearing headphones. The hostel it's locate by the main street, that's why I could hear everything, like the window was open. With the rest I am very happy, good value for money.
