Very good location, very kind staff , delicious food at the italian restaurant, but no elevator

The room was very large and comfortable. It was elegantly decorated and furnished, quiet and had everything we would expect in a 5 star hotel. The location was good, close to the old town and there were restaurants and other commercial places close by.

We missed having the normal reception / lobby area. When going downstairs, it seemed like we were there alone in this grand facility. They had a bar but it never seemed to be open and had no patrons or typical upscale bar feel. Minor items as the room and our stay were great.

A beautiful hotel, inside and out. Elegant, large rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice little cafe attached for coffee and desserts. Good central location. A great value for those using $ or €.

Excellent location just steps from Old town but not directly in it, so easy to get in and out, not too loud. Staff was so friendly. We got upgraded to a gorgoeus room with a view of the city. Exquisite lobby, would stay again!

Perfect!

The hotel is perfectly situated in old town to make everything accessible, yes avoiding the crowds. We were upgraded to a beautiful, very large, comfortable suite with 1 1/2 baths. It was a very welcome change from the Viking river cruise room we had just spent 7 days on touring the Danbue. The staff at the hotel anticipated our every need including arranging for a late checkout, without our asking, to accommodate our flight schedule. They arranged a private driver to take is to Krakow for the day to visit the Christmas Market, made dinner reservations, and arranged for airport transportation. We felt very welcome and we stay here again, should we return to Warsaw.

I used the workout facility and its located in an area that is fairly isolated. Since bo one else was around, it was a bit uncomfortable.

The location, the building and the room

Although the building itself üs very beautiful, the entrance amf other areas decoration is simply terrible with its old-fashioned soviet-communist era leather furnitures. Lobby and reception areas not welcoming at all, terrible breakfast room and breakfast itself, very poor service staff… Taking into consideration the price of the room and the breakfast, my experience has been very disappointing. No elevator, and an open-door casino on the same floor with the rooms! Every time you go upstairs to the room, you have to pass in front of the casino and its bar. Strange combination.. there is no concierge, no room service, no staff, actually nobody around.. as a frequent traveller, it was probably my strangest hotel experience ever. Thanks god I stayed only a night in there..

The location is excellent, so close to the old town. The hotel is beautifully designed in a former palace.We appreciated the breakfast, varied and high class.

‏The location and the staff were so nice, I would kindly suggest that the hotel cover the exposed food better to keep it clean and hygienic

The room was large and well furnished. The hotel is located right in the center of Old Town. The staff was kind, professional and very helpful.

The soaking tub was extremely deep. I had to help my elderly mother get in and out of the tub when she wanted to shower. Although the bedding was soft and extremely high quality, the mattress was extremely firm. So firm that I found it uncomfortable because it caused pressure points on my hip and shoulder when sleeping on my side. I tried to sleep on my back instead of my side and the pressure was on my sacrum. The hard mattress was disappointing because everything else in the room was sumptuous - goose down pillows, incredibly soft sheets, fluffy comforter, and oversized bathrobes.

This was my 3rd stay at this property. The service and amenities are amazing. I love the sheets. The hotel has the best combination of homey and luxurious. Thanks for always taking care of me during my stay.

Room was great. Restaurant very nice. I loved the lobby lamps!

The facilities are beautiful, maintained and well-appointed. Breakfast is delicious; and the reception staff goes above and beyond to ensure that the guest is cared for. I fell sick during my stay and the reception staff ensured I received what I needed. In addition, this is a great location for vacationers!

Close to the historical center, great breakfast, nice coffeeshop inside, very spacious and nice room with very good conditions.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. It’s in a quiet spot but at the same time walking distance to everything. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Beds super comfortable. Staff always ready to assist. The breakfast was wonderful.I will definitely stay there again.

My room was on the restaurant /casino side and for historical preservation of the building reasons that side of the hotel does not have an elevator. Staff are super helpful with luggage but it takes away a certain level of independence that I prefer.

Confusing hallways

The hotel is very nice and clean. I like decorations of the room, size of the room is perfect.Everything we asked for was delivered. Walking distance to the old town. Great accommodation for anyone and family with a baby.

The room was very comfortable and beautiful. The location is absolutely marvelous. The breakfast was wonderful. And the hotel crew was helpful, friendly and warm.

We got a bit lost at the beginning inside the hotel. I think that maybe it needs better signs (where the lift is, or the room numbers). But it is not terrible.

Beautiful architecture. Great location to Royal Castle Square. Rooms beautifully appointed. Comfortable and cosy beds. clean. Restaurant and outdoor dining wonderful. Food was fabulous and Italian wine the best. Parking on site right out front. Staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. Good English. Wifi excellent. AC good in rooms.

NO ELEVATOR. I am elderly and have bad knees so this was really a problem. Lots of stairs up, then down. It was challenging and difficult. They have an elevator but it is not working and I don’t think it has worked for sometime. Coffee and hot water in rooms but fresh coffee was a long way away to restaurant. A big place so lots of walking and stairs. I had to plan very carefully. Staff was wonderful and so helpful and that made all the difference. The hotel entrance needs a bit of power washing. Not impressive but understand it’s historic significance.

Beautiful architecture and grounds. Great location. Comfortable and luxurious rooms. Excellent restaurant and outdoor Bistro wonderful at night. Refrigerator stocked and water always available. The wonderful staff was so helpful and happy to assist with stairs and luggage.

The lift was no working and the beautiful staircase is step and long. Then more stairs down. I am elderly so it was a hardship for me.
