Pepe Hostel

It's a hostel, we got a private room with bathroom, bed was comfortable, room clean, small kitchen with microwave ,fridge, plates etc, linen provided. Metro train 10min walk, city only a few stops away. Free parking, but only a few spaces.

Nothing to complain about.

Simple check in. Great location near metro.Easy walking distance to a few nicePlaces to eat. Nice courtyard…showers on each floor. It wasn’t busy while I was there so kitchen and bathrooms showers were never hard to share. Clean simple rooms. Will stay here again.

While I was careful to close the coded locked gate there were a few times over the 5 days I stayed that I came back or was leaving and the gate had not been secured. It’s a good residential neighborhood so not likely that anyone would be targeting it for nefarious reasons.

The location is great, metro station is very close so travelling to the centre is very fast. Good for one night stays, but for more nights, lacks comfort. Had an issue trying to open the gate, wrote the staff, and the issue was solved very fast.

On hot days, the room got unbearably hot, the wifi worked only half of the time.

It was noisy , many people were talking and I couldn’t sleep well. The bathroom of my room had bad smell

We appreciated the private parking, which was accessible via phone. The instructions were sent quickly and were clear. The location is in a quiet residential area.

We stayed in a room themed with superheroes.Glass part of the main entrance door: The corridor has the bathroom entrance on one side, the main room entrance on another, and the flat entrance on the third side. The main door has glass in the middle, which is strange because people can see into the flat from the corridor. It’s not possible to get from the main room to the shower without going through this corridor.Communication issues: We arrived late in the evening, around 22:05, and called management about 20 minutes later with some questions. Initially, no one answered, which would have been fine. However, when they called back, the conversation was unhelpful. When we asked if there were other rooms available to switch to, we were told to "take it or leave it" and to leave a review on Booking if there was anything that we din't like.The window shade was opened so forcefully before our arrival that we thought it was broken and could not close it because it was stuck. When we brought this up with the host, she became angry and claimed everything was fine before we came, implying we were at fault. After a while, we managed to close it when we managed to release the shade.Room photos: The pictures for the Double Room with a private bathroom showed other rooms instead of ours. The actual photo of our room was only available in a general hostel section. The only photo that matched our room was of a mirror.Odor Problems: The room had a musty smell that seemed to come from outside. Although the towels were clean, they smelled damp once wet.Cleanliness: The bathroom door had stains. The same goes for some walls, though not to the same extent as the bathroom door.We paid 52 EUR for this room, which felt disappointing given the issues we encountered. In hindsight, we should have read reviews more carefully before booking. While some problems could be overlooked, the host's communication ensured that we won’t return in the future.

Location was perfect for my bus station - quite a long way from the town centre. I was a little worried about a room costing 30 pounds, but it was fantastic and real value for money.

Nothing - exceptional value

Very easy to find location, everywhere was signs to the building. Staff who answers the messages also very kind and explain very good how to self check in. Room was beautiful and clean.

-empty hostel-easy to check in-clean

-Rude service, the host refused to understand the problem with the door and blamed me instead.-The door lock didn't work, it was not possible to lock the room. I had to stay in the room to watch my valuables-way overpriced 220.50 zł (that is why it was empty)-remote location, no placed to eat around-noisy hot water radiator(heating). It will wake you up several times at night-worn out and cheap basic furnitureI would definitely not recommend this place and I understand why it was empty while I visited it.

It is a clean and nice hostel, very comfortable and colorful with movie themed decorations. The staff were nice and helpful, we did not have any problems there.

The staff is really nice and helpful. The toilets and a shower are really clean and easily accessible. The room itself is nice and clean (but no table).

Going up the stairs is quite hard with all the bags.The location is not easily accessible on foot.The bed wasn’t too comfortable.I guess the walls are quite thin as I could hear a lot of banging from the neighboring rooms

I was only there for a few hours but it is Definitely value for money. Easy self check in/out process. Room and shared bathroom were clean. Bed was comfortable.

I liked that it’s a self-service hostel. You get all the information you need and have that privacy without being bothered by anyone. We had all the necessities we needed, the room is clean and comfortable. Will definitely keep this place in mind for my future trips to Warsaw.

There are much problems in that place.There is not enough hot water and the worst shower even I saw in my life.The buttons in outside door doesn't work...and more...Sorry, but it is not normal for this price...

Hostel was clean and comfortable. There was 2 toilets and separate shower which is better when they are shared between more people. Kitchen is cozy and nice, also shared. Staff reacted to the request right way and helped to find the solution.I loved old movies style atmosphere in there ❤️.

Sleeping on bed you could feel metal spirals more on some parts than the others.

The room was nicely decorated and was very clean. it’s about 10 minutes walk from the metro which will take you to the centre in about 15 minutes, so the location is okay. The Wi-Fi worked well.

Room: The first room we had was « Casablanca » and it had a very old mattress. it was so uncomfortable and really hurt our back, it sinks completely as soon as you sit on it. When I tried to tell the host, she was very rude to me and told me to just deal with it, or complain to Booking. She did apologise to me later, and changed our room to another one (gone with the wind) that was also uncomfortable but better than the first one, but I still think it’s unacceptable the way she spoke to me. Even if you’re having a bad day, you never speak to an innocent client like that, it’s so unprofessional and I wanted to leave but I couldn’t find anywhere affordable for the rest of my trip so we had to stay. The walls are so thin you can hear everything your neighbours say, and the house shakes from the trucks driving by the highway across the road from the house.Location: The area is so quiet, there are almost no shops or restaurants close by. You have to walk quite a lot to get to one. Even though it’s 10 minutes from the metro, crossing the park at night is scary. I wouldn’t have done it alone, not in an area and country that I don’t know.General: I also tried to speak to her about how weak the water was from one of the showers, she was very aggressive with me showing me there was another bathroom which worked fine (I didn’t know this when I asked her). Even though there’s one other shower on that floor, there are 4 rooms on that floor which take 2 people each, so that’s one functioning shower between 8 people. I expect better. This shower gets cleaned once a day, which means that it’s clean for about 5 minutes and then after that it’s flooded and dirty for the rest of the day. The toilet seat was broken too. They just really need to fix these basic things?

Great place for short one night stay close to the highway. Clean, nice environment, communication is great, no problem to stay with a dog (extra fee). Recommend!

Location and the little green garden.

The bed, very very uncomfortable. Better no mattres at all than that one :). As we were on a roadtrip, not a option for decent sleep to recover. Also, the bed cover had remaining blood spots. I support the saving resourses idea but a sense of cleaness should be kept for the guests.

Outside the window, there is greenery, fresh air, and many trees. Nearby is a park for walks, not far from the subway. There are parking spaces. It is possible with animals. Good staff.
