Opened in autumn 2015, the Grand Ferdinand Vienna – Your Hotel in the city center is located directly on famous Ringstrasse boulevard in the center of Vienna. It offers a rooftop pool and 3 on-site restaurants. It is a 5-minute walk to the beautiful City Park and Vienna State Opera House and a 10-minute walk to St. Stephans’s Cathedral. The air-conditioned rooms are characterized by simple elegance and fine wooden floors. Adapted to suit the modern lifestyle, each room has an open-plan bathroom and hangers instead of a closet. Breakfast is served on the 8th floor – the beautiful Grand Etage, which offers breathtaking views. The Restaurant Limón spoils you with Mediterranean delicacies. Additional snacks and meals are available at Gulasch & Söhne, ideal for a quick meal. Alternatively, you can dine at Meissl & Schadn which classic Austrian cuisine. - clean, well run, quiet, friendly and informative staff, very good location
- Location is very good, rooms are very clean, not stuffy and modern, service is very good and friendly, breakfast room is spectacular and breakfast very good.
- Amazing hotel. Amazing location. Staff very accommodating. Would visit again.
Cons -
- Not a hotel for business travel, safe too small for laptop, desk too far from plugs, lighting too dark, no pen and notepad next to phone, no trash can in room, would expect bathrobe in superior room.
- Bedroom didn?t have a desk. Not having a separate bathroom (shower and sink in bedroom) wasn?t ideal
- Staff was worthless. Only Natasha listened and helped make us more comfortable. Price should include coffee and continental breakfast. Would not stay again or recommend.
