Located right in the heart of Vienna’s historic center, the Mercure Wien Zentrum is only a 5-minute walk away from Saint Stephen's Cathedral. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire hotel. Each nonsmoking room at the Mercure Wien Zentrum has cable TV, a mini-bar and a private bathroom with toiletries. Characteristic Viennese specialties can be enjoyed in the on-site restaurant. The bar features a terrace on the street and also serves some hot and cold dishes. The State Opera, the recently re-opened Albertina, the Hofburg, the Museum Quarter and the exclusive shopping areas of the center are all within easy walking distance. - Location
- Very nice room. Size, andequate for 2 people. Staff was helpful with questions. City map was available. Location is very good. Public subway from the train station worked well Short walk to central city sites. Public bus to airport was convenient.
- Couldn¿t have asked for a better location. Right in the middle of all the action and tourist attractions.
Cons -
- Noise from street below at night.
- Room could use an iron for your clothes.
- Beware heavy construction (jackhammers etc) starting around 07:30 am going until evening
