With a quiet yet central location, Hotel Embassy is a few steps from Santa Maria Train Station in central Florence. It serves a varied buffet breakfast in its dining room with original arches. All air-conditioned, rooms here feature free Wi-Fi, a mini-bar and LCD TV with satellite channels. All have wood floors and marble bathrooms, some have antique furniture and wood-beamed ceilings. The Embassy Hotel features a bar, an outdoor patio area, and a 24-hour reception with luggage storage room. Private parking is available on site. Ypu should pay for it. Florence Cathedral is 10 minutes' walk away, while the famous bridge Ponte Vecchio is 15 minutes away on foot. You have a great choice of shops, cafés and restaurants in the neighborhood.

Location. I needed to be close to the airport.
The customer service and air conditioner. Also a nice breakfast service.

Cons -

Amenities not refilled. Out of shampoo, body wash and refrigerator did not work.
After checking in staff informed me there was $13/day charge to park in a NON SECURE lot with lots of signs informing guest the hotel is "not responsible" for damage/theft. The hotel smells of pot, room of cat urine, rusty metal in the room. Can go on...
Staff could smile a little better. Complimentary Breakfast would have been good.
