Souvenir Maya is near the Accademia Museum with the original David statue, and 1969 feet from Firenze Santa Maria Novella Train Station. Rooms are compact and clean. All rooms at the Maya Souvenir have a sink, an LCD TV, and a fridge, and are cooled with a fan. Some rooms are en suite, some feature a shared bathroom on the same floor, and some feature a shower cabin in the room and a tea/coffee maker. The Maya is located on the 3rd and 4th floor of a historic building. The Fortezza da Basso Congress Center is a short walk away.

We are very happy with our stay at Souvenir Maya! Not only was the price very affordable, but the location was absolutely perfect for history and architecture lovers like us right in the heart of Florence. What truly deserves special mention, however, is the exceptional hospitality of the host. He was incredibly helpful and accommodating, even though our flight was delayed and we arrived late at night, well past the usual check-in time. On top of that, we were given an even better room than the one we had booked at no extra cost! We will remember our stay at Souvenir Maya very fondly and will definitely recommend it to our friends.
This is the 2nd time I stayed at this hotel. I was here back in October 2023. The location is great and in a very safe area. My room was very charming with a very modern bathroom. The hotel is old style European and quiet. The host, Andrea, is very welcoming and kind. I would stay here again if I come back to Florence.
Small hotel with a vintage vibe, cleaned and greatly located. It is close to the Central Market and city center mains landmarks. Perfect for a short stay in Florence. The host was very kind and passionate. Free coffee and tea available. Our room had a very nice view of the hills. Very high value for money. We will definitely stay again if we pass by Florence.

Just small details, like hot water in the bathroom upstairs was not always available. However, the downstairs bathroom always had hot water, and it was mainly a pressure issue that we discovered it s common in Florence. It's not a big deal. We could still shower every day downstairs and were happy with our stay!The room next to us was loud, but this depends on people, not on the host.

We are very happy with our stay at Souvenir Maya!
