Pros +
- The rooms are lovely and feel luxurious, and we loved the view of the Duomo. It looks and feels like a luxury hotel.
- Old world charm in fantastic location
- The location is outstanding, a short walk to Piazza della Republica and right in the thick of great street life and shopping.
Cons -
- For the price and character, it felt quite cheap to only provide one complimentary bottle of water per day (the rest had to be charged for). Air conditioning was not very strong, and t some of the fixtures in the bathroom were broken.

- It is a quirky old building, so staying above the 4th floor can require guests to walk a bit. I didn't mind, but it's something to be aware of. Our room was quite a distance from the elevators and required going up some flights of stairs.

 bartender to serve welcome drink of choice. According to him it was miscommunication, though we'are sure that was not the case.
