Hotel Palazzo Vecchio

Pros +

• It's not far from the train station nor the centre of Florence which is a 7 min walk away and hence convenient a location because Florence is a walking city, in general especially if you have luggage.
• Located in the center of bars/restaurants/shops and collasium.
• Only the location

Cons -

• Maybe that access to the hotel was a long a narrow single lane road with parking and hence one generally has to walk on the street or narrow walkway. Sometimes the vehicles whiz by and are rather noisy.
• No fridge. Noise when guests move around. Bathroom tiny but it works since the stay was only four days.
• This hotel was like a jail cell. The room was old and disgusting. The bed wasn¿t a real bed - it was 2 metal bars with a paper mattress on top. It was fine and there wasn¿t a real Blanket. For the money we paid I expected a lot more. Terrible hotel!
