Hotel Ludwig Superior

The breakfast was fantastic. If I was in this area again, I would definitely stay here. Great location, spotless, friendly and welcoming staff. It was also so quite which was surprising for a central location.

There were three of us in one room and the room was a little small, but we appreciated not having to get two hotel rooms. We were also not in our rooms much and there is a welcoming lobby area where we could sit and relax.

The hotel was very clean, and central , just 3 minutes walking distance from the trainstation, the musical dom and just a little further to the Cologne Cathedrale . The room was spotless, and the beds comfy,. Breakfast was delicious, wirh a good choice . All staff members were very friendly and helpful.

Polite receptionist, polite staff, great breakfast and a very good location.

The bed was not the most comfortable, the workers were next door in the actual hotel room, smoking, which we could do without.

The only thing actually missing was on site parking. We loved the location. The staff was truly kind and made our stay very pleasant. We are looking forward to returning in the spring.

Really wish there was on site parking, a coffee/tea pot and little fridge.

Too expensive for a twin bed and they combine shampoo and conditioner.

You have to turn in your key when you leave the property. The staff returns it when you come back.

Staff was very helpful. The room we stayed in was large and clean. Breakfast was yummy. FYI, when you arrive by train and walk outside it doesn’t seem like you’re in a safe location due to homeless people asking for money. There are a lot of tourists on the street. We walked the road back and fourth numerous times and after initial impression we felt safe. Awesome place. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I had a wonderful 2 night stay at the ludwig hotel. Comfortable bed and lovely breakfast. Also 24 hour reception. Everyone helpful and friendly. Ideal location for city , bus station and the christmas markets. Would definitely stay again. Was made feel very welcome.

Had to head back to the cathedral side of the station to find somewhere to eat and drink.

Good breakfast, waiting staff tended to our needs. Excellent location 3 minutes walk from Cologne main station. Quiet location. Staff soon found necessary plugs to adapt hotels plugs to suit UK version equipment having forgotten to bring own adapters.

Only thing I would have preferred was a kettle in the hotel room but night staff provided some hot water to make our own evening coffee , although there was a machine in reception that staff could us if asked. A minor issue which was got round by helpful staff.
