Garner Hotel Cologne - Engelbertz by IHG

Location perfect . Staff friendly every thing is good

Furniture old and bathroom bad smell

Location absolutely great.

Small room. Not particularly a problem, although it is all very small and not much ‘walking area’.

Location is excellent.

Noise in the hallways and light coming through the curtain to the street. Pillow was uncomfortable. Slept only 5 hours.

Very good location. Friendly staff. Very clean, comfortable room

The location was amazing, around a 5 minute walk from the cathedral, had amazing shops nearby. Located very near to the train station and not far from the airport. The staff upon arrival were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and very clean.

Nothing!

Very good

The sofa bed was uncomfortable.View from window not. as expected as was overlooking an internal service yard . Location good. Room clean .

Very convenient location

Noise transmits very easily here internally. I was woken and disturbed by other noisy guests arriving late and leaving early.Queues for the single coffee machine/hot water

clean, friendly, central. Good value breakfast. lovely staff. Can't fault it.

Location, decor

Cleaning could be improved in vents which were dusty, and the doors. Smell in the bathroom was unpleasant

The location is great, so close to everything. Breakfast had tasty tea. The guy serving us breakfast was really nice. The toilet is small but functional, comfortable.

The room was tiny. During 3 nights we stayed the elevator did not work.

The location was perfect! Breakfast was very yummy.

We couldn’t get the TV to be in English but didn’t have much time for that anyway :)

Hotel is super close to the Christmas market with parking super close. The room is super clean and the staff is very kind.

* Location * Staff (Mr Mohammad "Egyptianreceptionist")

* NO Tea&coffee bar @ the room.* Heating not optimum (even @ 5).

Excellent location, lovely breakfast, very comfortable room (beds are very comfortable). Lovely small hotel right in the CBD.

Nothing. (Could be noisy in summer as it's right in the centre).

The location is very accessible

Nothing …but maybe have some variety on breakfast food choices. On our entire stay we ate the same breakfast everyday.

The location, the size and the cleanliness of the room are all great. The shower drain was clogged but it is normal, it is not something that the staff would know unless a visitor told them, which I did. And they said they were very thankful for me to point it out. I almost don't want to give 10 points for this hotel so it would stay as a hidden gem :D

Walking distance to Köln HBf, Kölner Dom, shopping, food. Great place to base exploring Köln.

Excellent location. Good breakfast.

We arrived at the hotel after 4pm and our room was still not ready. The receptionist was really rude. Check in took a long time. The pillows were really bad and the shower had really weak water flow.

Excellent location, very clean room

Small bed

Excellent location, 5 min walk to cathedral and 10 mins to RheinFriendly staffReceived a call about left property (cash & cards, which wasn’t ours) but displays their integrity.

All fabulous
