Hotel Sion

The location is quite close to the main train station.

For the price I paid, the room was really small and offered very few amenities.

This hotel was located in the perfect place IF you're visiting the Christmas Markets. It had one market a 1/2 block away and another right around the corner. It was a 3 minute walk to the cathedral and there were parking structures close by.

Great location! Close to the Dom and lots of shopping and meal options nearby. Hotel was clean and in a nice area.

Our room was tiny with minimal space to walk or sit. Our bathroom was so small it was difficult to shower and dress in there. No towel hooks. The toilet was in an odd corner. I don’t think a large person would be able to comfortably use it.

Excellent location! Central to a lot of the Christmas Markets. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was bigger than expected which was nice!

The bed is a little hard and the pillows were really soft.

Perfect location. Close to train station, Cologne cathedral ,shopping centre , plenty of cafes and pubs around. Very clean room.

It’s clean and very well located!

The bed is a little firm and one soft pillow each, but that’s subjective.

Fantastic location for Christmas markets. We even walked from Messe/Deutz since central station was closed while we were there. It’s wonderful to have a three bed option in one room, just be cautious in certain areas of the room not to bump your noggin. Having a window to open in the room was a treat! Front desk reception was able to help with several questions. Cheers!

I liked how close it was to shopping, cathedrals and the train station

I’m only 5’4” and I had to sit on the toilet at a diagonal so I wouldn’t hit the wall. They also turned the AC off so you have to open the window to cool the room and I woke up with mosquito bites all over me.

OMG - from our 4th floor window we had a MAGNIFICENT view of the Cathedral lit up at night!!!!! Spectacular and well worth the steps from floors 3-4.

Breakfast was simple; there was no coffee or tea in the room, and the price for one night was expensive.

Been backpacking through europe and this hotel was in the perfect spot, so close to old town, the bridge, the cathedral.

Excellent location in the centre of Cologne. Easy walking distance to the cathedral and Central Station. Perfect location if you visit for Cologne Pride.

The room was well furnished but quite small.

Staff was rude, the room was small, elevator was small, batroom was relatevely clean

Banged my head on the sloped roof beam :-(We were on the 4th floor and the elevator only went to the 3rd floor. Not a deal breaker though.

Location was exceptional. Also enjoyed having breakfast buffet on site.

Rooms were a bit small to lay out our bags but otherwise fine.
