Hotel Imperial

The stuff is awasome. The staff is wonderful, the lady who greeted us was the nicest. The owner was also there and had a good sense of humor. A small and cute hotel, where we will definitely come back again.

It was quiet and simple. Breakfast was good.

Coffee and location isn't perfect. But the metro is 500 meters further.

I didn't like leaving

Our stay at Hotel Imperial was great.The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was helpful in bringing our luggadge directly to the room. It is a bit small, but still very good value for money.The location is ok. It is not at the city center, but it is close enough to public transport for it to be quite comfortable.The neighborhood also felt quite safe. Will probably book again next time I am in Cologne.

The night shift manager is very rude. He greeted us politely yet when my colleague encountered WiFi issue, he claimed that it’s “normal” since she was staying in an “economy” room. WiFi issue supposed to be in every room so you can claim you have WiFi in your hotel and especially for business travel.Then when she brought up her concern with bed bug, he didn’t mention that she can change a room and the next day we confronted him, he asked why we didn’t insist on changing a room. He even questioned my colleague with “You think our country is dirty?” when she was simply checking her new room was checked thoroughly…he was taking this way too personal and show unprofessional behavior.

We enjoyed our time at the hotel Imperial. Daniel at the front desk was lovely and very helpful :).

Friendly staff, spacious and clean room.

There is no water boiler, coffee maker in the room.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Staff were friendly. Far out from the city centre (30-45 minute walk) but still in a good area and close to transport links.

Room was comfortable but smaller than what is pictured on booking.com.

Staff are friendly and rooms are very clean. Spacious bathroom and very comfortable bed. Quiet and peaceful location around 30 mins walk from centre.

Not very child friendly as there was steps and hard to move around with buggy and elevator is extremely small. But overall i liked it and would recommend staying there.

I made the mistake of thinking breakfast was included in the room rate..it wasn't and wasn't worth 18euro per person.

The location might not be super close to the main sights, but it is in a lovely neighbourhood with a great cafe just next door. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and room very comfortable. Hotel a great blend of old and new.

It is more affordable than other hotels in that area, classic hotel atmosphere, bathroom is clean and modern, overall good and as expected for a hotel

The room is smaller than it looks in the photo, and it's a bit far from the city center. They didn't have on-site parking when I arrived, the closest parking is a Q-park under a supermarket with 6 minutes walking distance.

They was charging me for a car park as well and meant to be car park with the hotel also new shampoo or soap on the bathroom when I was going for a shower

Very friendly atmosphere – the staff were extremely kind and helpful. You can tell they truly care about their guests and do everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. They were quick and efficient in solving any issues. Also, the hotel was spotlessly clean – everything was well-maintained and tidy. I definitely recommend it!

The front desk was very welcoming and helped answer our questions about parking. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the showers were nice and hot. A very comfortable stay.

We chose not to have the hotel's breakfast because it seemed very pricey. But the good news, is that there are plenty of places within a 5 minute walk.
