Hotel Santo

The room was very nice and had air conditioning, the staff was also very friendly.

Just thr bathroom was a little dirty and we were missing one of our free waters, but other than that it was amazing.

Breakfast, location, concept.

We had some Flys or bugs in room. I pleased for cleaning but they were present next day too. Additionally, we got adjoining 2 single beds even though we booked kingsize bed :(.

Would have liked two luggage racks. Most couples travel with two suitcases.

Amazing location just near the main train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was supurb and their breakfast was awesome! Would definitely recommend staying here.

First of all, I preferred it because it is centrally located. ☝️

The room was small compared to the single person in the other hotels we stayed in. The room was cold for the winter weather conditions, the air conditioner was off, it wouldn't turn on and the honeycombs weren't hot enough, I got cold at night

Location was quite convenient.

Staff was not super helpful barring the last guy at the checkout morning. He was quite courteous and helpful. Rest was often rude and clueless.

Location was okay, own parking ( but they charge 28 € per day), the breakfast also was okay

The hotel is with quite poor service, not guest -oriented at all, with a rude guy receptionist. This hotel doesn’t have fully double beds, they make it from two singles. If you move somehow on a mattresses- it starts to slide and shift off the bed. Complains are not accepted on their reception, loosing time and energy. Small tips on the picture , if you paid for staying and want to sleep not in a whole between two single beds.

Comfortable hotel, good location, and a good variety for breakfast options.

I really loved the breakfast here. There was a great selection of warm and cold food, and the service was excellent. The girls working there were very kind and polite, which made the experience even nicer. I felt really happy having breakfast there and food was great. The reception service was also good, and when we asked for a kettle, they provided one with a good selection of tea. The room was big, comfortable, quiet, and warm.

What I didn’t enjoy is the bathroom. Sink is designed so wrong that after washing hands every time water would splash over out through the sides and on the mirror. Ventilation sound would turn on after switching the light and wouldn’t turn off with light off but would continue the annoying sound few more minutes. Really annoying, especially at night.

Location and room size.

Breakfast varieties are less, not much vegetarian options. In Breakfast area there is no coffee machine, we need to ask staff for coffee variety.

Close to train station and Christmas Markets. The breakfast was very good. The evening front desk gentleman was extremely helpful and nice. The room was spacious and the bathroom was very large

Excellently located hotel, close to the Cathedral, the Rhine River and within walking distance to the main sites. The neighbourhood is nice and tranquil, and so is hotel Santo itself. The staff is friendly, competent and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and varied. The rooms are spacious enough and equipped with an espresso machine with complementary capsules, which is something I really appreciated. Also, the room maids gave me coffee capsules when I asked them. I would gladly stay there again.

I am not entirely sure I appreciated the practice of not having my room checked every day by the room maids. I mean, when checking in I was clearly explained that due to ecological reasons rooms are cleaned only after short stays like mine (I stayed there for 3 nights). I was okay with that for I don't really need cleaning as such, because I never make a mess in my hotel rooms, I keep them clean and in good order. Yet, I prefer having my coffee cup properly washed after each use. Yes, I can flush it with some water, but proper washing always is much better.Also, apparently water drops at the glass door of the shower cabin have not been removed and were clearly visible, which was quite surprising.Besides that, I don't really have any serious complaints, and, as I said, I would gladly stay at Hotel Santo again.

It was in a perfect location to the cathedral and Christmas markets!

The pillows are like sleeping on a bag of socks and our sink seemed clogged as it took ages for the water to drain.

We stayed there with my wife. The bed isn’t original double bad. Two single bed is combined. This is a little bit annoying. Minus 1 point for this.

Safe in room was not working. When we spoke to someone they were unable to get anyone to fix as maintenance person was off sick with Covid. Booked a double bed but got 2 singles pushed together with mattresses of different heights. Room was very warm, this was with the heating turned off. Air conditioning in room was not working. When we spoke to reception they didn’t now how it worked or how to fix. Tv guide in room (through qr code) said there is numerous channels including ones in English. There was none.
