About a 15-minute walk to the Old Town and very close to a central tram stop. The area was very quiet, the Chocolate Museum was nearby, and the facilities were well-equipped.

Very comfy room, excellent gym and swim facilities. Did not try the breakfast as i thought it was a little expensive.

I did have to ask both evenings for more coffee pods for the in-room coffee machine

Good welcome on arrival. We had 3 rooms and they were generally good however there was one issue with my room which I will describe below. Other than that, there were no issues at all. Rooms were clean and value for money. My room had a side river view. Located about 20mins walk from the Christmas markets/train station. Highly recommend arriving that way as the first view of the cathedral as you leave the station is magical.

During the night, my room felt very cold and I was unsure why until the following morning when I noticed a large gap at the top of the window. Also, the window from the bedroom into the shower is weird. Although it's covered by a curtain, it is a bizarre feature.

The hotel was very nice, centrally located, about a 10-minute walk from the Cathedral. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the Wi-Fi connection, which was quite slow and frequently disconnected.The lady at the reception was very professional and responded promptly to all my requests. I recommend this hotel for its excellent value for money, location, and comfort.

Excellent location. My room was spacious, modern, feeling light and clean. I love the additional facility of the sauna and indoor swimming pool. Great for dark and cold winter months. I like the eco aspects of the hotel.

The breakfast with a flat rate of 25 Euros is overpriced in my view, although it looks good. I found better value in cafes nearby. The internet didn't work very well in my room.

From booking, parking add-on, checking in, everything went smoothly. Very friendly and helpful staff when checking in. The room is nice, would appreciate a little bit more lightning, due to the weather its already a bit cloudy and with the minimal lights it tend to get a bit dark especially in the morning. Other than that i would def recommend. The location is also top!

It was expensive, and you got very little for your money. Small, pokey room. No real tea/coffee facilities (like, a few coffee pods, no milk, no tea. Forget about biccies.) I know that climate change is greatly helped by not cleaning rooms every day, but they seemed to make it actively difficult to have your room cleaned (I ended up not having it cleaned, or wet towels replaced or new coffee etc for all three nights. Just bought myself a towel and coffee and milk.)

Incredible location on the riverfront. Easy walking distance from pretty much everything.

Spots of dried urine on the toilet bowl rim when I arrived. Strong smell of humidity in the room coming from the bathroom due to leaking shower door and shower head naturally turning towards the shower door, my shower mat was sitting in a puddle of water when I left the shower, I sponged the water up and with the mat and cleaned the floor, but the next day the mat hadn't been changed. The duvet was a single person duvet on a double bed.

We recently stayed atThe Hotel Lyskirchen Kölnwith with our family and friends booking three apartments and one standard double room for my spouse and me. Overall, it was a pleasant experience thanks to the prime location and solid facilities, though some issues prevented it from being perfect.The location is truly outstanding, right on the riverfront and close proximity to restaurants and shops, making it ideal for a relaxing holiday.The three apartments were fantastic—spacious, modern, and very comfortable, perfect for our group. The hotel kindly upgraded our standard double room to a superior category, but it featured only a queen bed, which felt too small and offered little comfort for two adults, leaving us very disappointed. Most of the staff were friendly and efficient, contributing positively to our stay, though one employee came across as somewhat rude, and parking—while available—was expensive with unnecessary complications when requesting a short extension.In the end, the excellent location and comfortable apartments made for a good overall stay, especially for groups. The delays, bed size issue, and minor service hiccups were drawbacks, but they didn’t overshadow the positives.
