Loved everything about this hotel. Rooms were comfortable and modern. Beds were comfortable. The overall building and place looks modern and clean. The location was amazing, walking distance to ALL Christmas markets around the city and other main attractions. Very close to the cathedral and the way to the cathedral there’s a lot of shops through a nice street. Staff in the lobby were very nice. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

Excellent hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. It's in an area where it is very convenient to walk to different locations that we were interested in visiting, such as the Cathedral, the Lindt Chocolate Factory, and the Rhine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when we needed to store our luggage on checkout while we continued exploring, and then helped us to get a taxi. The bar area was very relaxing with a nice outdoor seating area.

Nothing, felt it was a great stay.

The traffic in front of the hotel and into the parking by garage was terrible! That could have been due to the busyness of the Christmas markets though.

Rooms were modern and clean. Breakfast is nice with a lot of biological food options. Although it is located near a busy road, you don't hear anything in the room. Beds are firm but comfortable.Location is closeby everything, and good parking facilities too.

The temperature of the shower fluctuates a bit and the water pressure is good enough but not great. Also the paper cups in stead of glasses in the bathroom is something that I wouldn't have chosen.

Room was quiet considering how busy hotel was.Located just outside the main tourist area so no tourist traps to deal with.

The hotel’s location is perfect. Overall, the hotel looks very nice, especially the lobby and bar area, which had a great atmosphere. The cocktails were also very good. Our room was small but efficient and well organized.In general we enjoyed our stay overall.

The most disappointing part of our stay was the check-out experience. When we booked the room, it included extras such as late check-out until 14:00. When we asked about this, we were told that the hotel was fully booked, so we needed to check out at 12:00 instead. This was not a problem for us.However, starting at 09:30, the housekeeping staff repeatedly tried to enter our room. Even though we placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, it was ignored. We were disturbed approximately 6–7 times until 12:00, which was unacceptable and very uncomfortable.I’ve never had an experience like this in any hotel before.Additionally, there was no coffee or tea maker, no bottled water, and not even glasses for drinking water in the room.

-The location was great. We only needed the metro twice—coming and going to train station and airport. We walked everywhere else. -I did like the memory foam mattresses in the room. - Some of the staff are super nice. There was a very nice young woman (dark hair, was working the evening of Nov 29th) who went the extra mile to help us figure out the hairdryer, which required three different mechanisms to turn it on.

- The size of the rooms are TINY. We’ve stayed all over Europe and even in NYC, and this was probably the smallest room we’ve ever been in. It could be better with space saving storage and less furniture. As is, we couldn’t open both of our carry-on suitcases at the same time and still be able to get around the room. - Some of the staff are horrible and need to consider a change of profession. We tried to check-in an hour early as we had come in on an overnight flight, then taken a 3 hour train ride to Cologne. The first guy (I didn’t get his name—young Asian man) was super kind and said that the room wasn’t ready yet but if we checked with him in 20-25 mins, he would see what he could do. He went ahead and took our payment and checked us in. I gave it 30 mins and went back to check on the room. The nice young man was helping another guest, so I got his colleague (Jens, I think). Jens is a super angry German dude who shouldn’t be in a customer service position. When I told him what the other guy said, he snidely replied that checking in early wouldn’t be possible. He was so mean about it that I was struck dumb. He then says they were NOT checking in anyone early which was echoed by a female colleague, though she was much nicer about it. He was so horrible that I simply responded that he would need to give me access to the bathroom then (you need a key card). He pretty much threw the card at me in response. I can say confidently that in all my travels I have NEVER encountered someone so rude and that includes traveling in France. It really spoiled our first experience in Germany. Fortunately, we did not encounter him again during our stay.- There are no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. I learned on the last night that I could have asked for a tea kettle. - You cannot control the temperature in the room as it seemed to be disabled.

A very convenient location- close to the Christmas markets, transportation and shopping and dining as well. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well stocked.
