Motel One Köln-Mediapark

The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful area. It is within walking distance to the city center, which was not a problem for us. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend it.

The only thing we didn’t like was the significant price increase during fair periods.

whatever chemicals were used on the bedsheets when the cleaners changed our bedding on our 3rd day. my boyfriend broke out in rashes everywhere and i felt itchy and burning on my arms. had to sleep in joggers and a long sleeve top to prevent this.

Easy to get the train from the airport to the hotel (with help from information desk at the airport) and about a 10 minute walk from the station.Supermarket close by. Warm comfortable room.

Found reception staff efficient but not particularly friendly, the bar staff on the other hand were friendly enough but then they were taking our money!Okay location, about a 1O/15 minute walk to the cathedral.I left my AirPods in the room when leaving, but they wasn’t found by housekeeping after sending an email after arriving back home, even though my phone showed that their last location was actually in the hotel.

We loved the vibe and the colours, the room was cute and cosy and the bed and pillows were super comfy and the shower was lovely

No kettle or fridge and couldn't connect my phone to the telly it wouldn't work

Interior is modern, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. We stayed on Weekend when the property was very busy but staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

The hotel was really welcoming - the staff are lovely and accomodating (we had medication that required refrigeration and they were happy to assist) - and very cosy lobby/bar. The room is comfortable, cosy and very clean - modern and fresh. Whilst the room is compact there’s plenty of space for your bags/hanging coats/clothes. The location is good - it’s a bit of a walk to the cathedral (15 - 20 mins) but is a nice neighbourhood.

We didn’t pre purchase breakfast - but bought breakfast in the morning as cafes in Cologne seem to open late in winter (9am onwards) - and the breakfast was a bit pricey. However the breakfast was nice and the staff attending were lovely.

Location is perfect, 20 minutes walk distance from Old town. Room was cleaned every day.

Good location on the Media Park, which is easily reachable on foot or with public transport from the city. Check-in was quick and uncomplicated and the staff friendly. Our room was small, but comfortable. The bathroom was very prone to steaming up, but otherwise also fine. We would stay again.

It didn't affect us, but the rooms was not particularly quiet, as noise from the rooms around us could be heard. Nothing terrible, but might be worth keeping in mind for people who are sensitive.

The place was in a great location, really close to Media Park, we enjoyed to walk around the pond a to the park. It was 10 minutes away from the cathedral (walking) and there were several stores and restaurants in the neighborhood. Staff was nice and the place was clean and beautiful

Inexpensive, clean, practical, spacious bedroom and bath. Lots of parking possibilities in the Media Park underground parking lot. Lots of restaurants nearby, but city center and cathedral just 10 minutes walk away. Very practical and very fairly priced accommodation.

Convenient location for a visit to Koln especially with the underground parking adjacent to the hotel - don't forget to request your parking discount at reception. Pleasant communal areas on the ground floor with bar and seating areas (indoor and outdoor)

The rooms are relatively small but probably in line with expectations based on the price.
