There was a nice Lobby area and lounge.

It seemed dirty in the bathroom and the carpet in the hallways. The door and trim in the bathroom needed replacing and the towels were scratchy and not nice and plush and they had no facecloths.

Some of the staff came off as very cold and robotic not friendly at all and dismissive. I had to inconvenience myself and speak to the manager/supervisor Svin (he was very helpful) but guests shouldn?t have to go through that to have a supervisor fix it.

Very Expensive. No breakfast included in €235 per night room, breakfast extra €30 pp. This is Cologne (Köln) not New York.TV remote not working from 1st night but no response from reception. Discoloured bedlinen, thin worn towels. No slippers. No shower cap. No bathrobes. No minibar. 4 clothes hangers.This was sold as a Superior Deluxe Double room - extremely disappointing.

the location is very good, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The hotel is older, but functional and clean.

Really nice clean hotel. Staff were always attentive and very professional. Great location. Easy access to public transport.

Nice quiet modern clean room with nice view, materials used not cheap. Coffee machine with capsules. Super central for our activities in Belgian quarters.

Old TV, could not connect tablet, staff said they need to be replaced with new ones first.

The staff was very helpful and really friedly, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, breakfast was amazing, a lot of options and everything was delicious. The hotel was close to everything we wanted to visit, plus we got a room with a great view to the Cathedral, it was a gorgeous view with the Christmas markets and all the lights outside. Overall, highly recommend!

The location was perfect for our first Christmas market in Cologne. It was practically across the street. The staff was excellent and helpful. They all spoke English which helped me. The buffet style breakfast was outstanding. Anything you would want and more. It also has a parking garage which is very helpful. Parking on the street can be difficult. I felt very safe walking in the garage too.

Only thing we found was they don't have wash cloths for bathing. I guess it's a European thing. Bring your own. Its was the same in two other places we stayed.

The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. Although the room faces the main street the windows were soundproof and overall the room was quiet.

Practically no Internet was available in the room - neither the "free" nor the "fast".This caused me a great inconvenience as I had to take customer-facing calls either in the lobby (where the Internet was ok) or use my personal limited data plan to get online. Our room was "skipped" cleaning a number of times, and even when it was cleaned, no clean towels or water bottle were left. Given the above, no hotel management did not attempt to fix nor compensate us in any way.
