Legend Hotel

The room was very spacious and well decorated. We loved the sparkling and still water in the room each day. The breakfast was delicious. We absolutely love the coffee machine. The staff was friendly and you can't beat the location.

We liked the hotel overall, but the rooms could use a little more light. The only other issue was with the keys having to be remade and not working a few times.

Our room was fantastic, suite on the 2nd floor overlooking the square (during our stay, the Christmas market). Room was very spacious, bathroom was clean, the bed was the most comfortable I've had in a hotel. Lavazza coffee maker in room was a bonus while getting ready in the morning. Staff was very friendly and the entire place was spotless.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. We were within 5 minutes walk of the 3 largest Christmas markets and the major pedestrian shopping street. One of the Christmas markets was literally just outside our window. Our room was very luxurious and we had massive windows that could be opened that were the size of a large door. We appreciated the USB ports, water bottles upon arrival in our room, good bedside lighting, and l'Occitane products in the bathroom. Great hotel.

The coffee machine in the room had not a drop of water in it and the light on the magnifying mirror in the bathroom was either broken or it needs new batteries. It would be good to check that things are ready to be used and functioning before each guest arrives but it in no way would prevent me from recommending this great hotel.

The location is amazing. Smack dab in the middle of the 3 Christmas markets and central to everything in Koln. The view from our room was amazing, looking right over one of the Christmas markets. The room itself was unbelievable, hands down the nicest room we have ever stayed in. Very spacious, stylish and comfy furniture throughout. We will 100% be coming back next time we’re in Koln!

The location was great - walking distance to the Dom, train station and Christmas markets and restaurants around.

The room was surprisingly small, no minibar, room service was only available in the evening, rooftop terrace was closed and the elevator didn't work for two days.

I liked the aesthetic of the hotel and the room itself.

Desk Staff Present 24/7. Our room keys stopped working twice. It happened once right before 11pm which is when the desk staff leave for the night. This could have become a really bad issue. The hotel also smelled so bad. Like rotten food or possibly throw up. We had to leave the window open at night which really sucked because it was extremely cold outside.

Loved the suite, the style, the comfort, the ease, the location!!! So close to the train station and to the dome - was perfect for our stay.

The bathroom door was really really heavy - and we're strong women!! Also one night, there was some event going on outside of our window and it was crazy noisy. Not the hotel's fault though.

The location was amazing. Walking distance to nearly everything from the main train station and cathedral to restaurants and the water front. Our room overlooked the historic market square where locals and tourists alike visited.

The breakfast service was a bit pricey considering you could walk outside and get a great local breakfast for half the price. The pillows were a little flat and hard and the sliding door to our bathroom was extraordinarily heavy, we ended up leaving it open most of the time because our kids couldn't open or close it.

Confusing lighting options inside the room, not easy to get there by car.

Excellent location, very easy to access from the train station and nice view of the square from the room. The staff was absolutely wonderful and we were given an upgrade to the suite which was incredible! Bed was comfortable and the pillows were nice as well!

We were lucky enough to have a top floor room that had a massive balcony overlooking a large city square with multiple restaurants and pubs with locals and visitors milling about till late. Only about 5-6 blocks to Central station, Koln Cathedral and from the river and multiple restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Taxis would not go up the one block cobble stone dead end street to drop off or pick up, so had to drag luggage 1 block.

The location was amazing! The room was spacious and very comfortable. They had it set up nicely for our two kids. The staff were also very helpful.

The AC wasn’t the best and it happened to be a very hot few days.
