B&B Hotel Köln-City

Was a very good and central location.Everything was clean.

A little bit expensive for a room without breakfast.

The rooms are good value for money and suitable for a short stay. They were clean, quiet, heating worked fine, and they had the basic amenities needed for a two-night visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, the rooms are simple but have everything we needed.

The location is a bit outside the main city but fairly accessible by public transport. The rooms are on the smaller side, so there wasn’t much space to open luggage, especially for three people. The bathroom ventilation didn’t work properly, but everything was clean.

Bad experience

Staff very bad and did not care about my heater that could not not turn off in my room, had to sleep with the window open. Worst stay ever. Never this B&B again.

Very clean and well organized and a large parking area

Location and the guy at the reception from Kosovo is my new best friend.

Tight rooms and nonexistent pillows.

Great location in a quiet area. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had everything you need for a pleasant stay

-Upon check-in, we were informed that there was a €10 fee for early check-in. It wasn't really offered as a choice—just stated as a requirement if we wanted to access the room early. In the end, we didn’t take it.-The double room is advertised as having a large bed, but it’s actually just a queen size, which was disappointing.-The room had a stale smell, so it didn’t seem like it had been ventilated well.-The bathroom cleanliness was lacking, with hair in the shower and generally not up to standard

Clean and just 13 minutes to Old town by tram.

Doesn’t provide warm breakfast

Very nice hotel, would not hesitate to book again and to recommend it to others. It is a relatively short distance from the center. We walked and the route was pleasant. The hotel is clean, well-designed, and there is plenty of parking. Very good value, a positive experience all around.

The only minor drawback is that the breakfast area was a little tight. There was sufficient room for everyone to sit and also enough food and drinks, but now and then there were traffic jams at the buffet. That being said, everyone, the guests included, behaved gracefully and it remained a nice experience.

The location was very convenient for our purposes, the rooms are very basic but had everything we needed, and were clean.The parking was good (which is necessary in that part of Koln!), the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was fresh and tasty.

One evening the wifi wasn't working due to a technical problem, but it was fixed quickly.

No frills hotel, decent value for money. Clean and comfy enough

We were given the incorrect door code firstly and had to go back to reception to be given a new one. Location is about an hour's walk from Cologne train station. The Ehrenfeld area nearby does have cool bars and restaurants though.p0

Clean, great for our family! Parking was big enough for our large van. Easy walk to public transportation.

The hotel was very clean and looked brand new.The bar was just a vending machine, but that was perfectly fine for us.

The pillows were awful however the beds were very comfy.

Passable

We stayed in a room for four people. The room is small — it might be okay for two, but not for four.What is extremely important: at 8:30, after knocking twice, a staff member immediately entered the room while we were all sleeping, waking us up after a very tiring day. This is unacceptable. There is a set check-out time.

Straight forward, unpretentious, modern accommodation. Easy to book and check in. Not really near anywhere in particular but handy for the Live Music Hall venue we wentTo.

Car park fees were unwarranted. Would expect free parking as a guest. No facilities other than a vending machine in reception. Breakfast was okay but nothing special and overpriced.

It was modern and clean

They agreed to put a big bed but they didn’t and worse enough the cleaners slept on one of the beds casually and didn’t bother to put it correctly afterwards. The Ac was locked so couldn’t function properly so during the night it was horrible.

Pleasant

There were no kettle, tea or coffee, no glass but just couple of paper cups. Nowadays it is a standard for any hotel to have a kettle.

Clean and very well organized. The parking was easy to access with plenty of space.

Very limited choice of food for the breakfast. Although it was a busy weekend with many attending a big meeting at the „Messe“, the cost of the room was very high considering what we got.
