The hotel had a nice view

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel, the rooms are old and dated. It was quite dirty.

The location was quite near from the ISM exhibition

When I checked in, this hotel was under total renovation. The hotel should have temporarily closed down until the renovation was completed

I liked the beer fridge in reception

I was charged £23 for breakfast whilst other people in my group were charged £17…I let it go and made sure I had 4 courses

It was fine.

The rooms were quite noisy. You could hear the noise from the traffic on the bridge. They transferred me to another room which was better, bit still a bit noisy.

Lovely hotel right by the harbour xmas market and chocolate museum. Book the breakfast, you will not be sorry. Excellent variety of hot and cold to suit everyone. Rooms were clean and big, shower cubicle was huge! Staff all very helpful and friendly. My only complaint is that you have to request your room to be made up (never heard of that before!) which we did, but it wasn't done at all. We stayed 4 nights! I don't expect clean towels, but it is nice to come back to a made bed! I did speak to reception who are well aware of the problem. Room had its own thermostat and it was nice and warm. A very central place to stay for xmas markets which are excellent.

we booked a corner room with river and city view when we arrived they said cormer rooms were no longer available and thwt they upgraded us to a better room the presumably upgraded room only had limited river view small windows and was gloomy. and they chose this one grade down room for us at the same higher price we had paid for the corner room we had booked..we had to go back to reception and insist and then they did find a corner room as we had booked to.start with.... a bit irritating.

Everything was good. The room was spacious and well equipped, the shower was nice and the shampoo/conditioner were good quality. We also used the gym and sauna upstairs. The hotel is a short bus ride from the train station, we also walked a few times along the river up to the cathedral.

everything extra costs 20 euro more. Breakfast? 20 more. Parking? 20 more.

Hotel was nice and convenient to winter markets. Staff was great. They really made it nice for us.

My biggest complaint were the pillows. They were horrid. I have bought 5 dollar pillows from ikea or lidl that were better. My neck was hurt for several weeks after having to sleep on the pillows for 3 days. I suggest they just buy new pillows. Such an easy miss.

Exceptional

That although for over one year I jept sending emails, nobody answered me in the subject of wrong ly booked reservation

Room was great. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice, and very fresh.

Convenient location

One of the lifts was not working and it took ages to get to the room. It was not working last time I was there. Good if the hotel could fix the lift.

River view was excellent

Not many english speaking tv channels, sports or music. Elavator operation was problematic during most of stay.

The bedroom window is not properly sealed. You can hear road traffic, people on the street and wind howling. It ruined the stay.

The location is close to the city center and Kölner Dom (about 20 mins walk).The staff was ok and helped us with everything we needed.The room was clean. I don't remember after how many days they would normally clean it, but you can tell them at the reception to customize it to your needs.

The carpet on hallways as well as in my room looked very old and worn out.

Great location near chocolate museum and Rhine. Huge bed and good bathroom. Staff lovely and hotel clean.

The room was hot to say we were there in December and the air-con was noisy.

The location next to the harbor christmasmarket was great

Bed was not comfortable, pillows extremely hard, window did not close against the rubber which made it so there was a lot of noise from outside coming in.
