ALL!! A perfect stay at Ruby Ella! The hotel is in a great location, ideal for enjoying Cologne. But what really makes the difference is the hospitality. A very special mention (reception, housekeeping...) whose names I don't know but who do a wonderful job. Thank you to the entire team for this great experience!

Room comfort bad, air condition was not working that tge weather was 1 celcius. There is no phone in the room,if you have something to ask reception you should go downstairs.

The location was fine, I liked the bar very much.

Well, I had just stayed at the Melia Madrid Serrano where the breakfast was amazing, so the one breakfast I ate at the Ruby seemed paltry and like slim pickings in comparison, and not worth the price.

The beautiful space, friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable bed, the option of swapping room cleaning for drinks.

The toilet in the bathroom could have been more private. It would have been good to know the onsite parking would cost 20 euro per day before arrival.

Personally not a fan of the glass box bathroom/ shower design for lack of sound proofing/ privacy.Galley hot water didn't work so we couldn't make hot drinks on either floor that our rooms were on. Would prefer in -room facilities.

Good clean rooms and nice touch with the music box for during the day.

Loud bass from music during the night that kept us awake.

About two blocks from the metro train station. Plenty of grocery stores around the area for take-away items. Staff at check-in were great -pleasant, excellent and detailed communication skills and supportive in making sure your stay was comfortable. Place had a great vibe and room was nicely appointed and designed. Would not hesitate to stay there again!

Gorgeous! Every detail covered. The service was second to none. They made all of us feel so cared for. Hamza and Melanie remember us from last year which was a lovely personal touch. They bent over backwards for us. It’s a wonderful hotel and one that we will visit again!

A lovely quirky hotel close to everything we needed with good parking and a nice atmosphere.

Excellent service from the staff, particularly in the evening/night time very helpful while at the same time running a busy bar. Good cocktails.

At this price point kind of expected the room to have slippers

Nice room, a bit unusual, the sink was in the room. It has Marshall bluetooth speaker and the amp. You can try a guitar from the lobby. The breakfast was not very diverse, but was of a high quality, the coffee is prepared by the barista. The bar is also nice at nights. Shampoos, gels are of a good quality. The location is good, 15mins from the center.

There was no electric kettle in the room. There are common areas where you can prepare hot tea and iron your clothes. These facilities are located on floors 1–4, but we stayed on the 5th floor, which was not convenient. My wife stayed in the room while I went downstairs to prepare the tea. That turned out to be a bit of a trap, because you can enter the staircase, but once you are there, you can’t access any floor without a key card. We also left our rucksack in the storage room, and it was moved, so it ended up a bit dirty.

I would not recommend it at all

Plenty of selection at the continental breakfast, friendly staff, loved the music vibe in the decor. Would certainly stay again in this hotel or another in the Ruby chain.

The staff were very friendly! We came in very early with an overnight bus from Paris and the staff were more than happy to let us stay in the lounge and check in early. We were very grateful! The location was very good! Metro was in walking distance from the hotel and could easily take it two stops to the Koln Cathedral. I loved that because we didn’t opt for room service we got a free drink, very good for the environment and a nice touch.
