Only one elevator (could take some waiting time in the morning).

I liked the location, Nicky and Kevin were very helpful, the other guy was too busy rolling his eyes while answering questions. He was treating English speaking customers as if they were stupid and not understanding him.too many eye rolling. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.

Elevator was used by the staff while people were trying to go to breakfast on 5th floor and check out. Families were dragging suitcases to stairs because staff was keeping the elevators for themselves. That was ridiculous.

Good location nice good rooms, ideal for families and solo travlers

The room was clean. The beds were comfortable and the heating worked well. The room has no curtains but only shutter blinds, so it doesn't get completely dark, which was not a deal breaker in winter.

There was no hot water neither in the shower nor in the taps. We stayed for a night, and it was not a big deal. But starting longer might prove challenging.

Just a minor comment - the room looked quite bare. Would've been nice to have a bit of interior design to have a more homey feel.

Breakfast was excellent, and the place is decent for the price.

Unfortunately, it was incredibly noisy. I ended up going out until midnight in the rain just to get away from the noise. When I returned, people were still talking loudly—almost shouting, for hours. I was completely exhausted the next day. I went to Bonn, which was wonderful, though I spent most of the day feeling like I just wanted to sleep.

Great Breakfast, much better than 4 stars hotels. Very friendly staff.

One day they forget to clean our room.

The property is conveniently located and has great parking. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding.

The rooftop terrace had no furniture on it and the door locks behind you leaving you stranded.

Breakfast was amazing. The staff is very helpful and courteous.

There is no AC so you must leave window open and use a fan. But it is incredibly noisy outside at night. Sometimes until 2am.

Good central hostel. Really well set-up for families. We had a double bed and bunk beds in our room, and an en-suite bathroom. It had everything we needed for two nights in Cologne. Buffet breakfast is included in the price, the food was good & had a good range, so my kids enjoyed it.

It's a very family focused hostel, there are lots of kids. This worked really well for us - but might not work for everyone.

Room was a good size, nice bathroom and breakfast was very good. The guy that was working in the afternoon evening, was super nice, very helpful and a true asset to the property. He was most welcoming to our group.

Some seating out on the terrace would be nice, maybe that comes when the weather gets warmer.

The room is very clean. comfortable mattress. I got an extra bed for my 5 month old baby. It was also comfortable. Delicious breakfast. There was also a garage for my car. Everything is good.

Location is really good. Only couple minutes to Neumarkt. Breakfast is good, has almost everything. Our room was clean but it was next to Club and it was noisy during weekend. Staff are very friendly and responsive. Bed mattress is not the best but it is decent

The Hostel Könl exceeded our expectations. The hotel is very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is of outstanding quality and variety. We will stay there again when we visit Cologne!

The hotel is not fancy but it has everything you need for a short or a week's stay. There's nothing to complain about, really. We would stay there again.

Everything is great! Perfectly price/performans balance. Personel, distance of center, heating , breakfast are very good. Borusu is perfect city wiev on terace. Thank you Hostel Köln team!

Pillows are very very big ?

Short distance to the show, quiet, good breakfast.

Found some white little bug crawling out from my bathroom. The bed is fine, but the size of the bedclothes are a bit small (I'm 179cm). No air conditioner.

Breakfast, price, location, value

The hotel was clean, spacious and very quiet. The front of house staff - especially Nicky were very friendly and helpful throughout our 3 night stay. The included breakfast was great and we'll received by the whole family. Thank you!

This is me, being really picky because I loved our stay, but I would like to be able to have access to a water fountain/ machine 24/7 rather than just the restaurant opening hours.
