Lindner Hotel Cologne Am Dom

The location was fantastic. Walkable to everything. Close to the trams and trains.

Great location near the train station and the Dom.

Construction right outside of the hotel. Early morning noise.

Convenient for centre of Cologne and the old town. Also access to pool and sauna!

Sockets are a bit complicated to get them to work, but reception can advise.

Excellent location few minutes from Central Station and the Cathedral, at the edge of the city centre. Room large and clean, good bed, very quiet. Sauna, pool and gym in good conditions. Good breakfast.

Room functional but a bit uncharitably designed and rather dark. Room service changed towels and cleaned bathroom but didn't make the bed or change used cups and refill tea /coffee - that should be expectable from a four star hotel.

Location is,good to the center..Stuff is nice ,helpful and,smilingRoom is very clean..

Nothing actually ..except the price is little expensive..

Infrastructure looks outdated, including the SPA facilities

The restaurant downstairs was really good. I went there for dinner, has the smoked beef short ribs and pork rib duo - it was delicious.

The spa was closed for maintenance but I was not informed ahead of my stay, so this was disappointing as it was the main reason for choosing the hotel.

The location wasn’t great rooms were good size and comfortable the staff also were very nice

House keeping wasn’t good enough

Great location, easy access from the station, only 5 min walk.Helpful staff. Good facilities, swiming pool with spa is a bonus after a long day walk.

Late check in at 3pm and early check out at 11 am. Only one bottle of water in the room for three of us.

Staff were very agreeable, had a little problem with our room and they had no problem accommodating us in a different one. Breakfast was very nice too.

Hotel is a bit old so it felt a bit outdated, especially in the rooms.

The room was spacious and clean. The size of the balcony was nice, plenty of room for more than one person. The location was pretty good; we could easily walk to all nearby attractions. The staff was very nice and helpful and were able to answer any questions we had.

Although they had a decent number of offerings for breakfast, the items that were supposed to be hot were just lukewarm. Other than that, it was pretty good. The view from the balcony was not the best, unfortunately it faces a building that looks like it is being torn down at the moment.

The location in the center is close to the cathedral and main station.

The hotel has come of age and could get a refresher. Everything was fine but rather run down over the years.

We loved our suite which was very spacious and had an awesome view of the dom. The breakfast was really good with so many options. The location is also very central and walking distance for everything in the city center. Plus points for the swimming pool, hotel gym, and the dinner on the hotel restaurant and drinks selection.

The elevators were taking so long, that we sometimes needed to use the one in the end of the hallway instead of the one near the entrance/exit.

Had to wait to check in as the night guy was somewhere else. Not taking card payments for the kiosk. Being woken up at 10am by the cleaner knocking on the door (I had to check in in the early hours of the morning so I was asleep - although to be fair I didn't put the do not disturb sign in the door). I did think it was rather strange that the guy checking us into a 4 star hotel was wearing ripped jeans and a jumper - I would of expected some sort of uniform

The room was good, clean, comfortable. The breakfast was sufficient.

Restaurant / Bar did not open in the afternoon and the lobby is very small to stay around.

The location was great. Very close to the train station, cathedral and a short walk to the old town and Lindt chocolate museum. Nice to have the option of the pool which was heated. The kids enjoyed it.

The heating system wasn’t working in both our rooms. One room was set at 17oc and the other room at 25.5oc. We were told that nothing could be done other than giving us a small portable heater which didn’t help. Myself and my daughter were so cold we ended up moving to my husband and son’s room. This room was sooo hot. None of us slept. When our room was made up the next morning, the coffee, teas etc were not topped up by housekeeping.

Unfortunately no early check in but that was OK as luggage was stored. We could only book twins and not that easy to push beds together. Not sure if they have many doubles. Breakfast was very expensive so we did not take it.

The Lindner was very comfortable and the rooms were quite spacious. The location was excellent.

We were hoping for the indoor swimming pool but it was closed. The room was warm....
