Bed mattress was not the newest anymore (6.1) to be replaced in next 18 months please!

Really clean

Clean but in the bathroom there was mold on the ceiling and also on the sink drain that a child could touch in case of us, she did… maybe also 1 or 2 more cushions in the cupboard as reserve since i slept without cushion. Our baby and my wife used one so i had none. Baby did not sleep on the blanket as intended because it was a little too flat (but still good try).

Sandra, the host, was very helpful. I had a couple of small issues and within minutes they were resolved. Rooms very clean. Only a a 10 minute walk from main station, cathedrral and old town.

I had an amazing stay at this accommodation! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and attentive to every detail, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The location was perfect—quiet, relaxing, yet close to everything I wanted to explore. I truly felt at home and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Everything was great

My husband and I stayed here while we were attending the ANUGA trade fair earlier this month. While the hotel's location was superb—just a few minutes' walk to the Cathedral—and the rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, the real story here is the incredible staff.Our trip took a painful turn when too many celebratory German beers triggered a brutal gout attack for him. Watching him suffer was awful; he was desperate to find some immediate relief. We approached the manager, Sandra, simply asking if we could buy a bag of ice nearby. What happened next was completely unexpected and truly heartwarming: she didn't just point us to a store; she offered us her personal supply of reusable ice packs and insisted we use them freely.Sandra's kindness was relentless. She checked on him every single day to ensure the packs were replaced with fresh ones. This was a literal lifesaver for our trip; her compassion helped the gout subside quickly, and we were able to enjoy the rest of our European travels. She is truly an angel sent from heaven. That level of genuine, empathetic service is what makes this hotel exceptional. We can't wait to go back, if only to thank her personally again (and to say hello to the cats!). What an unforgettable stay.

The room was nicely furnished and very clean . Comfortable bed and bedding. Very spacious shower and toilet room. Only 15 minutes walk to the cathedral and central station . Good transport links

36 steps up to the room were not mentioned . Would have been better if breakfast was provided and nit just free coffee in the morning from a machine

No elevator

It respected the expectations. Breakfast is not provided, but it's clearly stated. The room is like described on their page, so no surprises. Room and common bathroom were clean. Position is good: 10 mins walk from Hansaring U-bahn and S-bahn, many e-bikes on rent in the nearby roads. For breakfast, there's a nice bakery just on the opposite road, open on sundays too. No problems.

Maybe it needs to be clarified that the hotel has no lift. I'm fit enough to manage 3 floor steps with luggages, but I guess someone older than me may find it difficult.

Very convenient. Easy self check-in. Clean, warm, safe. Basic stay which was what I needed.

Location of hotel is great nearly to Hauptbahnhof and Kölner Dom and so many restaurants and cafes nearby … I was in the first floor that was great since I have big luggage and no elevator for floors upstairs .. yes room not big but for one person it was good .. everything was fine with me

Quiet street, easy walking distance to Cologne HBF, attractions, shops and restaurants. REWE supermarket is a longer walk, but there are no hills and it’s a pretty boulevard.Small, cosy hotel with a communal dining area and free coffee from the machine until 11am. Our room had a small fridge and there was crockery and cutlery in the dining area, so we could easily self-cater.Our host Sandra was friendly and welcoming and she did our clothes washing for a small fee.
