Motel One Köln-Messe

Clean and comfortable

Would like to have water and tea making facilities. Breakfast was basic

Fantastic!Train station nearby.

Not many restaurants around. Or shopping / grocery shopping

The room was clean and comfy.

The parking was public so we had to pay. With no discount.

Excellent location!

Extremely slow check-in that took 35+ minutes at peak hours and detracted from my time to get out and enjoy the city…

Great location. Room was really nice and bed was very comfortable. Staff were excellent. Impressive features inside.

It was very clean

Very expensive to be that far away from old town

The heating system in the room was not working and only had cooling. I informed the reception about this and the reception said there was nothing they could do, I had to check out after two hours and go somewhere else. I was not happy with the hotel at all.

Everything is clean, modern and new

Location next to the exhibition center.

The room was really small. The price was sky rocketed during the exhibition so we pay purely for location.

Very comfy and Moden, very good location to the train and a nice walk into the city centre

There were no hot drink making facilities

Perfect location, 5-minute walk from Köln Messe station. The room is big and has a super comfortable bed. It is also clean, and all facilities are new. The environment is also quiet, you could really enjoy your stay!

Location next to station to airport Fabulous breakfast Spacious room Luggage storage with receipt

Nothing was great

Very good location, around 20 minutes to walk into town. Quiet & clean room, nice communal area and the bar was really nice and modern! Next to the train station, couldn’t hear it at all. Staff were really friendly and helpful, recommend nice German restaurants

Air con didn’t work properly, makes the room quite warm, pillow are really soft, even when requesting a firmer pillow.

Location

Breakfast , size of the room

Lovely hotel, right near the train station and a short walk to the river, bars and restaurants. Would stay again.

Excellent location, next to the Cologne fair grounds and a train station. Spacious room, with a comfortable bed. The service was quick. The room had a view of the internal garden, and was quiet despite the proximity to noise.

The breakfast wasn't very good - no omelets, limited kinds of food. The breakfast room itself was uncomfortable - hardly any normal tables to sit next to. The shower hose holder was a bit moldy.

The location is th emain reason we booked the hotel. Everything was clean , the reception staff was very polite and helpful

Rooms are extremely tiny , there is no ironing facilities , coffee facilities , so all is very basic

Good location, very convenient for public transport. Quiet room. Cosy bar.

Air condition was not working properly, making the room stuffy.

Staff

For the price that we paid there is not even bottle of water in the room. Window was blocked. No fresh air. Although room was clean and Staff were helpful, room as a room absolutely not worth that money.

No coffee kit / no toothbrush and no saving kit, price is too much than the other 3-star categories. rooms are so small
