Tiniest room I have ever been in and dirty, still water in the shower from previous occupant and brown slime on tap

The breakfast was incredible. So many fresh and delicious options. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were amazing. The hotel was located very centrally which made getting around easy. Everything about the hotel was great!

Nothing to improve in my opinion.

The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and ok could have been hotter.

Tiny room and bathroom very old and dated communal areas were old and outdated carpets threadbare and dirty. The photographs on the website bore no resemblance to what the hotel actually was and looked like, and must have been take. 20 years bordering on fraudulent.

Nothing, absolutely horrible place and rude staff

This was an overall horrible experience. The guy at the front desk was the rudest more disrespectful person I have ever met. We booked a room with 2 beds and he only offered one twin bed and a very tiny sofa bed that was not able to fit even a kid. The bathroom was impossibly tiny. The carpet on the stairs are very dirty. We had to leave in the middle of the night and the front desk guy didn’t do anything to accommodate us and give us the right room.

Perfectly situated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good with lots of fresh fruits and juices. Bacon, eggs, cheese and muesli.. something for everyone.. although not sure if something for vegans..

Location is nice,close of Catedral and city center…

Great location

The room 40 directly next to the reception desk was only made up for one person although we booked a double room. We could hear everything at the reception desk. Perhaps the rooms upstairs are better.

The hotel was more than adequate for a short stay. Close to the main railway station. Excellent breakfast and hotel was clean.

The only "negative" I would have was there was only one pillow in the room, which for me, was too soft. I'm sure if I'd asked for an extra, one would have been forthcoming.

Nice people good beds and good breakfast

Room looked a little scruffy with things taped off. Still clean though.

Very close to the Christmas markets. So many locations were walkable and also extremely close to public transit. We arrived by train and were at the hotel ten minutes later. Also our whole family was able to stay in one room.

It was small but it was perfect for an overnight stay.

Clean rooms. Temperature was acceptable.Bed was too soft which don’t like but this is personal thing.

Food smell ventilation was not good enough, other floors smells food in the morning not nights.

The location is excellent when you want to visit the heart of the city, everything is on walking distance. Kölner Dom is 5min walk from the hotel. Also, Breite Strasse is one block away and is one of the main shopping street in Cologne, you can find everything there. Otherwise, the hotel is in a quite street, the room was pretty small but OK. We had breakfast there, if you like German/English breakfasts, I think it's OK...as a French, I found the sweets very poor and coffee was bad, so I wouldn't pay for the breakfast again there. Anyway, it's great to stay there to visit this city.

Like a beautiful treasure, we found this delightful hotel on a quiet street in the middle of everything we wanted to see in Köln. The staff are lovely and the breakfast was amazing. We highly recommend staying at Cerano.

Location & rooms were nice

Shower is a little small but does the job. And parking garage is not good if you have a lowered car.
