Situated a 15-minute drive from the center of Sheffield, the ibis budget Sheffield Arena features bright, modern rooms, Wi-Fi access and limited parking, 24-hour front desk, and easy access to Sheffield Arena, a 3-minute walk away . Each room at the ibis Budget features a private bathroom with a shower, a flat-screen TV, and air conditioning. All rooms have a double bed and single bunk bed and can accommodate up to 3 guests. A continental, buffet-style breakfast is served daily and it includes fresh fruit, pastries, and a selection of cereals. A snack bar and vending machines are also available in the lobby. The vibrant Meadowhall Shopping Center is 1 mile away and the Crucible Theatre is a 10-minute drive from the hotel.

- Value for money. The hotel was clean and staff were very helpful and friendly
- Tiny room more like a prison cell
- Room was as expected for a budget hotel. Shower is amazing, powerful and hot. Beds are comfy enough. Staff were polite and helpful. Good location near the tram for meadowhall or travel into Sheffield.
Cons -
- Did not know there was no kettle in the room. Nor that I could use reception. No info about this in the room.nor how to use the television but worked it out
- 3pm checkin . Had to pay £10 for early check-in and £6 to use the car park . No tea or coffee making in the room
- Not complaining as the room is great for the price, I read in previous reviews that there's only one plug point and one pillow per bed. I was staying at this hotel five nights so I took extension cable, kettle and extra pillow for my comfort.
