Excellent location and the staff were friendly and welcoming, very helpful too. Facilities were great and the room and bathroom was very clean too

Bed wasn’t very comfortable for me so I had broken sleep but that’s just a personal thing

The restaurant

The room had mould in various places in bedroom, mould behind bath tap and on shower head. Door was poorly secured with gaps around it where the light from main hallway shined through. Could hear everyone walk past the room as the door was not tight in the frame. Communal doors slammed where the door closers were not adjusted properly. Disappointed that the bar area was taken over by the wedding that was going on in the hotel, we couldn't enjoy a nice drink in the bar after our meal at the restaurant.

The hotel is worn out carpets are threadbare the hallways smell of damp walls need repainting rooms need an upgrade it’s as if the owners are letting it run right down We had an evening mealWhich was well presented and good value for money the staff in the restaurant were greatBreakfast was another matter the quality of the sausages was poor tea and coffee were self service which was ok but it was instant coffee of not a very good quality Poor selection of cold meat and pastries were non existent unless I presume uou got in first The whole place was cold apart from the landing where they had a fan heater running constantly !

Wasn't very clean first room had poo on the sheets as we smelt it and stains all over bedsheets didn't really want to sleep in them wasnt value for money In my eyesThey swapped our rooms but the next room had stains on the bed bed wasnt very comfortable

Breakfast very good, evening meal was good ,prices buy one get one free a real winner

Staff where very helpful, me and my son was later than we expected due to accident on the M4, we got there about 8.30/8.45, the staff where kind enough to take our food order and put it threw to the restaurant.

Loud people next door to my room. So I asked to be moved.

Nice bar area and quick check in.

Bathrooms rusty and dirty. Room was extremely cold as radiator was off and window was open when I checked in at 7:30pm. Room was that cold I had to put a hoodie on when I tried to sleep. The radiator finally warmed up the room about 5am.

the room was huge! bed comfy, tea/ coffee in room, mini fridge. huge unsuited decor was very nice

the settees are not that comfy. but wasn't the end of the world.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant especially at breakfast.

During my stay, whilst unpacking I found a soiled bed sheet stuffed into the drawers directly next to my side of the bed.A member of staff at reception acted upon our conversation and this item was removed.I do think that checking wardrobes and drawers should be part of the duties covered by housekeeping.Our room key did not work on the Saturday morning when we returned from breakfast but maybe we had to check out before 10.30am which is when we were unable to gain access to our room.We planned to return for a stay for Valetines on Friday 13th February but as we have not received any response from my email sent to customer service, we have not booked.

Room walls stinking. Make up on bed sheet. Blood on bed sheet. Left within 15 minutes as was disgusting

The hotel is in a great location . The rooms are a good size, however the beds are broken squeaky and the matress was all just bone and springs.

Dirty room and sink was...

The sink was leaking in my room,. The shower was dirty and there was dust every where.

Plenty of free parking, which isn't always the case. Price - amazing. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff, although I didn't need much help, but I felt confident that I would get it if I asked. Low noise. Although a password was provided it wasn't needed for the WiFi. Warm room.

Found the plug on the bathroom sink difficult to open. Would have preferred a shower with a handset, not a rainstorm in a bath. Honestly, if you are going to put up a sticker on the wall that tells you the bath can be slippy when wet, you probably also have to provide 'grab handles' on the wall.

Comfortable room. Staff were attentive.

Room was too hot

Very convenient location, close to Pontypridd. The staff are lovely, including the restaurant team, who are friendly and attentive. The food was great too — really enjoyed the meal and the overall atmosphere.
