Great location for not a lot of money.

No staff. Other customers are not considered, no boundaries, no privacy in the bathroom. People listening to videos loud, dragging chairs, using the ladder in the bunker beds to hang coats when one needs to use it, using one single stool as a private bed table. No plugs to charge your phone on your bed, no lamp.Doors don't close smoothly, disturbing noise.

Location is good, only location. That's all.

Terrible hostel, room door no lock, and Savings Column can't lock by my own locker. Room is smell, the lower bed is too low can't head up. I can say that it is the worst hostel I live. DON'T book this hostel.

In the 4 member dorm, only 2 Lockers present. No intermediate cleaning done in the washroom. Guess, it is daily once only.

I liked the location.. it is very close the train station and bus interchange.

The shared washrooms are cleaned just once a day in the morning. So messy situations are sighted in the washrooms during the rest of the day.For a place like this having 20-30 people staying, washroom needs regular cleaning multiple times a day.Moreover the WiFi quality was not good, so i resorted to using my own data.Also in the communal room, there is scarce supply of drinking water for drinking, as there is no arrangement for drinking water, so guests have to go out in the market to buy water.

I like it being within the city center. Entrance a bit secured. That it's not far from basics shopping centers.

I didn't like the mixed gender sleeping pattern. I found that very embarrassing. Strang men and women sleeping in the same room. What's that. I prefer male and female sleep in separate rooms. Too close to club location causing too many hard drug enthusiastic people around as residents. No basics home facilities (microwave etc).The fridge was too small for the size of the apartment and no one to guard you round on arrival.

Considering the price you pay, you get all you need to go on with your stay in Cardiff. Bathrooms were not the best, but they had heated water and a relatively clean toilet. Bedrooms were pretty cramped and needed proper storage, but the bed was well-kept, and the rooms were cleaned religiously every day. My biggest complaint would likely be other inconsiderate guests barging in in the middle of the night to speak super loudly while others are sleeping, but really, that's not in bunk house's control. The location is the best part about this place. Also, the common room is a really good place to decompress and/or work.

Bedrooms were cramped, and are in desperate need of safe storage for when guests are away for the day. Bathrooms were bare, and some showers didn't have shower heads. The toilet also didn't have toilet paper at one point. There were also inconsiderate guests, which is hard to control.

there is no Kitchen, no drinking water, no common space for chatting and talking, very bad hostel , Bed Hight was very small, no reception, nothing is good. i never seen in my life. its really very bad experience.

Perfect stay for a weekend. Bed is comfortable, not too loud during the night but earplugs are recommended.

The hostel is very centric, the staff members are kind and the rooms are spacious.The installations are okay, but I consider they could improve / fix the bathroom a little bit. There were some details in the one that was in the room I stayed at. Other than that, it was fine.They have WiFi, and I never had any kind of trouble with it. It worked greatly.I suppose I cannot really complain about the noise since it was coming from the outside, and we must consider It happens due to the centric location of the hostel, it is surrounded by restaurants, pubs and more. It's not their fault.For a one- night or 2-night stay, it is fine.In conclusion, it is an okay place for its price.

Just the location.

It looked as if the walls were made of cardboard. A bang on the door could be heard from far. The walls were peeling.I saw black Mold? The beds were metal, making noise and the mattress was all used up. The floor looked dirty to me. They were wooden. The bathroom had the smallest sink i have seen. The water would spill on the floor.It need a complete rehab.This is my thinking. I maybe wrong.

The location is excellent, right on the main street of the city. There is a Tesco right in front of the Hostel. I had trouble opening the doors and they answered me very quickly through booking. There is no reception, they send you a link to open the main door and the room door. I only spent a few hours at the Hostel, I didn't even sleep at night, but I slept a little in the afternoon and the bed was horrible, very uncomfortable. The shower is also pretty bad, it heats up well, but the flow was uncontrolled. There were only 2 girls in my room, but they seemed to live in the hostel. Sleeping in the afternoon was almost impossible, they were talking the whole time I was in the room. The price I paid was pretty cheap, so I didn't expect much and I can't complain. The reviews weren't the best either. If you're just stopping by for a quick trip, it's worth it for the price.

Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to help!! - couldn't fault them.Room was tidy and clean. Bathrooms on the other hand, were nearly all full of vomit / vomit residue on nearly every visit. I visited various bathrooms across floors which only led me to more vomit. Shower also had vomit in it!Look it's a city hostel in an amazing location with beyond amazing staff, and if they could overcome this minor cleanliness issue our stay would have been vastly improved.I hope the premises takes our feedback onboard.

Good location

Noise all night, no kitchen or social area. Just a place to stay for one night.

Bedroom waa clean and tidy, bathroom has a shower with 2 toilets. Minimal bedding on each bunk. Great to pick a bottom bunk. After awhile the 5 other women were all talking to me and very friendly. The one young man in the bar area was very helpful. He made a key card for me, carried my suitcase up the stairs for me.

Too many stairs to get my suitcase and bags up them. Pillows needed to be thrown out as very flat and the stuffing waa falling out onto my bed. Quilt was just about adequate. No soap in toilets; one toilet was blocked. So 5 women used the 1 toilet. No bins in the toilet for sanitary towels very unigenic. Rubbish bin in bedroom was full. No drinking water to have a cup of tea. Very basic overnight stay. Some girls use this all the time. Beds were very uncomfortable. The women were very helpful. No help at 8am when leaving so I had to carry my suitcase down the stairs one by one step as my suitcase was heavy. I couldn't get my key off the Internet as I don't have Internet. I won't be using it again. Too noisy from downstairs bar on Fri nights and very disturbing with people fighting outside properly. Homeless people sleeping on the street. Felt too unsafe to leave the property.

The location

The location wasn't bad, but the place was terrible, the facilities really old, dirty, the staff was very hard to find and not very friendly. The lockers in the shared room weren't working. It's better to pay a little bit more for a better place. It was really cheap but still wasn't worth it.
