Cardiff Marriott Hotel

The location was very good. The restaurant breakfast was also veryGood and had a large choice in the buffet

Room service was via a QR code but once on it you couldn’t interact or order from it. So I tried to use the room phone to call, but the phone did not work. I was too tired to go downstairs to ask so I gave up. Also there was no usb C point.

Lovely friendly staff, perfect location to train station and bars, restaurants and shops.

The lighting in the room could be better the air-conditioning not much control over that and the window opening could be a little wider

We didn't like the car park. We found it difficult to get into.

The location of the hotel is fantastic to explore the city. The room is as spacious with two comfortable double beds. I normally find hotels too hot to sleep comfortably however the room temperature was perfect. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Getting in to the car park. I missed the entrance the first time round as the entrance is at the side of the hotel and you go underground to the car park.

The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in at a Hotel! The mattress topper and protector still meant the bed was hard and have been aching for 48hrs after checkout!

Breakfast food just warm ! Coffee cold after first cup, after 9: 45am alot off the food not topped up so if they ran out you went without.Me and my daughter was looking forward to Pancakes and chocolate twist but ran out

The location of the hotel, staff, and room were all very nice.

The mattress and pillows were too soft and left my back hurting the next day.

We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott hotel in Cardiff. Location is amazing! Hotel is spotlessly clean and staff were attentive and helpful. Our room on the 10th floor was fabulous! A big room with two really comfortable double beds. We had a great nights sleep as it was so quiet. Shower was lovely, would 100% stay here again!

Executive room was tired.

Prepaid £36 for a bottle of prosecco to be in the room an arrival, this didn't happen. Emailed to complain and had no response. Room was a bit tired too, room 421.

Although we had be 'upgraded' to executive I actually found that drinking facilities were a minimum ..2 coffee pods ..(sachets of not very nice coffee at all) 2 sachets of sugar and 2 sachets of canderel..an empty fridge! Yes we were on 8th floor which meant we had access to lounge which was closed after a certain time ..Also a bed that had what appeared to be a king size duvet COVER with a DOUBLE quilt inside which meant that a LOT of the cover was empty. A very poor night sleep also

Staff helpful and friendly. The executive lounge was clean and quiet with good quality food and drinks provided.

Upon check-in, we immediately noticed that the air conditioning unit was extremely noisy, even when switched off. We reported this to reception and were informed it would be looked into. After review, we were told the noise was due to pressure in the pipes and could not be fixed.Although the staff were helpful and provided excellent customer service, the air conditioning unit continued to be very loud throughout the night and kept us awake. In addition, despite the room being advertised as soundproofed and located on the 9th floor, there was excessive noise from outside the hotel late into the night, which further disrupted our sleep.

Excellent location for Utilita and bars and restaurants. Staff are always amazing.

Unfortunately we had no hot water which we didn’t realise until the morning as we were only staying one night. Staff were brilliant and we received a discount for the inconvenience.
