- Absolutely nothing
- AC never got room cool (was hot in Cardiff) the “view” out my window was the a deck where other guests were right outside my window. Room was drab - could use more color (looks more “designed” in photos) expensive for what it is.

Everything was amazing. As a former travel agency manager, I recognize great service for the money and I was blown away by the facilities, the linens and personal grooming products, the honor bar and comfortable lounge/rooftop terrace and Continental breakfast. All top notch.
My only negative was the lack of elevator, which did not impede me, but may be a sticking point for those with disabilities.
Lovely hotel. Beautiful room and lounge. The outdoor space was such a plus. The staff were just wonderful — very helpful and friendly. Delicious breakfast included. Would 100% recommend.
Mattress was extremely firm.
Very comfortable room. Beautifully decorated little hotel. Breakfast was delicious. Located walking distance to Cardiff Castle and other attractions.
Everyone was very nice and friendly. Rooms were clean and very beautiful. Food was very nice. It is a cute and nice place
Breakfast was included in the room charges. But we had to pay extra for hot items like eggs, etc. This should be clearly mentioned in websites.
The location of this property is exactly for what we hoped. We were able to walk from the train station. It was very convenient to the center of town, the castle, shopping, pubs and multicultural restaurants, an easy walk for all we needed. Our rate included breakfast which was termed "continental." It was more than adequate and we enjoyed it. The sunroom, patio and self serve bar and limited snack availability (for a fee) were a bonus.
Those with mobility issues may have difficulty negotiating steps.

Loved the room. High quality. Loved the location. The terrace bar was amazing. We stayed the hottest weekend in April and really needed the terrace bar to cool off.
I understand why you don't have tea and coffee making facilities in the room but I did miss not having it, but it's not the end of the world.
It was decorated beautifully and in a superb location. The staff were friendly and the lounge area outside was a lovely touch. Bed was super comfy and the shower was great. A lot of information provided on arrival for both hotel and area.
No kettle in room, not everyone wants to get dressed and walk to the communal coffee area first thing in the morning. The bottled water. middle of the night I went to have some water and it was sparkling? Both should be still, it’s what people expect and will save waste, or give people the option of swapping. The food was okay, continental selection for the included breakfast was tiny. the only bread/toast available was sourdough? No normal bread an option.
Tranquil oasis right in the heart of the City. Lovely lounge and terrace and very well stocked honesty bar. Superb lunch and great breakfast.
The location, the staff and the comfort of the rooms and common lounge was excellent. Having an incredible steakhouse restaurant below made it superb!
My only negative feedback about the hotel was the lack of an elevator. We are traveling for two months with two big suitcases and had to repack for one night on smaller bags so we could go up and down the stairs. Besides that everything was a 10
Location and Boutiqueness
Honesty bar that someone else tried to charge to my room. I also didnt like the noise that came from the room above ours. The floor needs insulating or expect 1to be awake at 1 in the morning and to wake up at 5.30. I also wasnt keen on breakfast being included but being expected to pay for anything hot
Well furnished and friendly staff.
stairs.
It was a super hotel and if you are looking for somewhere central then this is perfect.
Only slight diss was there is no parking and it cost £60 to park in the NCP!
It was quirky, rooms were fabulous, very well equipped. Super to have the terrace area for a group of friends to get together.
Nothing!
Everything was spotlessly clean, the comfiest bed with beautiful decoration. Loved the lounge area, a little piece of heaven where you can relax and have a drink. Breakfast in the morning was delish, a small selection of quality produce included in the room and option to purchase an extra cooked breakfast if desired. My husband did and loved the cooked welsh, he said it was one of the best he has had, with unique produce.
Only thing I didn't like was not having a kettle or coffee machine in the room, to get dressed and make our way to the lounge to get a brew in the morning was a bit of a faff. For the room rate some homemade biscuits would have been a nice touch.
Easy walk from the railway station. Liked the lounge with unlimited tea/coffee. Having a good restaurant in house with excellent breakfast.
Parador 44 is sited on the doorstep of the Principality Stadium and within minutes of the heart of Cardiff's shopping centre. As such, it was a lovely surprise to find this oasis of tranquility and calm. Beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, with all the facilities we required for our one night stay. The lounge and roof terrace (with honesty bar) was just lovely - and our room even better! We were in Flor - right on the street - but never heard a sound from outside. A massive, comfortable bed, seating area and luxurious bathroom... it was just a joy! Breakfast is taken in Asador 44 - the restaurant downstairs - and was lovely. We opted for the hot menu (extra cost) and it's well worth the money, but the continental option was also well thought through and delicious (the granola!) Finally, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Really would highly recommend.
My only slight nitpick would be the extra cost for a hot breakfast - but the quality of the food is exceptional.
