Staff were great. Would recommend eating at least one evening meal in their bar/restaurant. Great flavors, great value and good vibes.

Unfortunately there was a tear in one of the net curtains, and cleaning staff should have highlighted this so it could be replaced or mended before re letting the room.The giant bed was two beds together and felt much higher in the middle both beds were old and very dipped in the middle . I like to fall asleep in the crook of my husband's arm, and the ridge made it quite uncomfortable. So I didn't snuggle up and the rest of the bed was comfy.Not a dislike, but preference would have been to have a small fridge in the room so we could make as many hot drinks as we wished. Altho I did go down to the bar and request extra milk sachets. We always take tea, coffee and sugar away with us so milk is the only issue. Means we could buy things for lunch and keep refrigerated rather than buying on the go each day. As I said, only a preference not a criticism.

The guesthouse seems to have been recently renovated and the room was very clean. We enjoyed dinner at the historied pub very much.

Location into Cardiff as right by bus route . Bus 30! Excellent value for money on a room only basis with private parking .

Breakfast hamper offered at extra cost as opposed the offer of eating in restaurant room.

Very easy parking right outside accommodation. Wifi works, not quick but works so I can work. so many place say free wifi then it is literally useless. Here is ok. Room very clean. Nice mattress and pillows. restaurant food is good. staff nice. decent shower.

the outside area was full of drunken loud people until 11:30 and as it was ROASTING HOT I had to have windows open. I guess the owners cannot control the gobby drunken noisy punters but it was loud. otherwise all very good.

I couldn’t even check in, since the check-in time was until 10 p.m., and it was impossible to arrive earlier due to the Oasis show in Cardiff. No one is answering the phone, messages, or emails to help figure out how to get in. So, I paid for a room I didn’t use. Maybe they’ll take pity on me and refund the cost.

Location was excellent for what I needed. The staff were extremely helpful and were able to adjust the bed configuration at late notice. Comfortable rooms, fan provided which was excellent to deal with the heat. Simple check out process.

Lovely little spot just outside the city, with incredible pub fare. room was lovely and price was very reasonable

There's nothing not to like.

Very clean and cosy room. Beds comfortable. Lovely selection of hot drinks avaliable.Check in and out was easy. Didn't use the breakfast option but hampers look good.15min drive into the city and cardiff bay.It's a good 30min drive to cardiff city stadium

In case you need to pay for breakfast please do it before 8 pm the previous day. It was my fault because I didn’t ask and we arrived late.

we ate at the pub restaurant in the evening and it was excellent. rooms were good, clean and comfortable. good value for money.

Tyr winch is convenient and just out of the city centre. Great parking. Food on site. Comfortable for a 2 night stay. Friendly staff

The staff are fantastic, the room is always spotless and comfortable. Unlike many hotels, the control over the heating in the room is easy to use. I have been staying here for about 2 years now, and the same very high standards have been maintained during that time

All good, I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about this place and believe me, I normally have lots to say about hotels

Everything was great apart from the pillows, which were too soft, but apart from that, it was great value for money, great location and plenty of parking space ?
