Pros +
- Excellent for access to St Davids shopping and the Utilita Arena
- Location & Cleanliness
- Great hotel & reasonably priced considering PeterKay was in the Motorpoint & Wales were playing England. We would definitely stay again & thank you for making our weekend so enjoyable.
Cons -
- If you want breakfast you need to book it on arrival at a cost of £12.00 otherwise you will be charged £17.95 on the day which is extortionate for a breakfast.
- Hole in kettle, cards deactivated a day early (this also happened on last visit) The hot breakfast buffet option had been withdrawn 45 minutes before breakfast had finished on Monday morning. We paid for the breakfast and then were informed if we wished to have hot food it would be a Buffett and we could only have a full English. The whole idea of a buffet is that you can pick and choose what you eat. To top that off we woke up on Monday to know water so we were unable to shower. We raised this with reception and we were told we should’ve been given a letter?! This did not happen. Really disappointed ☹️
- Old tired and dirty room. Noisy aircon. Damaged furniture. Not 4*

Old tired and dirty room. Noisy aircon. Damaged furniture. Not 4*
The staff are lovely .
The room was looking tired needs updating.it was clean the tc didnt work the toilet didnt flush properly. The breakfast was appaling dried out the hash browns were so tough couldnt get a knife through it . I have stayed here several times but this time has put me off staying again. Sorry There are plenty of hotels in the area will be my next stop.
Very comfortable. Excellent central location. Friendly staff.
Tea and coffee not replenished.
Not what I would expect...
No heating in room in middle of winter.Breakfast supposed to finish at 10 but had been cleared away before 8:55. Staff brought breakfast out but it was cold.
The view! This was the only thing that was impressive about the hotel. The ease in which the one member of staff swapped our room as it was unsuitable.
The room was very dated, smelt funny and didn't seem as clean as other hotels we have stayed in. The bed was extremely hard, the room was really cold (we stayed in January). The breakfast wasn't very good, as the trays were all empty, and staff could not keep up with the people. The man that met us at reception was very rude, we could not understand a word that he was saying due to mumbling. He put us on the 21st floor and didn't activate our room card, we had to go back and forth to get this sorted...21 floors! He blamed me for it not working....saying that it was my watch! ridiculous that this could cause an issue and tell people that the first time! We were questioned at breakfast for not paying, which we had, this was unnecessary and embarrassing. I have never been asked in any hotel to write out my details on a piece of paper such as my address and postal code etc, surely a hotel charging £200 a night has a better system than this!!!
The room was really nice and spacious with a big TV. Really good location close to the city centre. I had a lovely stay
Nothing to mention! Everything was good
Location good.
Room very bare and basic. Large bed but not comfortable. No mirror on dressing table. Towels not great.
Close to the arena for the show we were seeing.
The food was lacking, I had hot honey chicken wings which were overcooked and tasteless, hubby had fish and chips which he said was fine but nothing special (perhaps have another look at the food offer which is the only thing that I would mark as less than excellent).
It’s location, the smell as you walked in to reception, the size of the room.
Room 2004 was very tired and poorly laid out, it’s in desperate need of a new carpet, updated style wardrobes better furniture.
In a good locationNice bar areaBathroom was lovely
The room 1106 was very noisy, not with outside traffic or trains but the air conditioning and the fridge noise was unbearable. The bed was really too hard as well
Location great
I felt the car park was very expensive considering we’d got 2 rooms costing over £350
It was close to the Utilita arena
Parking is on a first come basis cannot book in advance, very small carpark and small spaces & price £25 for 24 hrs
Only positive is its close to the arena
Was given a adapted room was not advised of this when checked in , when asked to be moved was arrogantly told they were full ! Woken at 5am by the water pipes , air con rattled , tv kept switching its self off , no iron , broken toilet seat and grubby bathroom . Twice the key card wouldn’t work! Wont stay here again
Excellent location at a good price with a very good breakfast. Staff were very friendly and main facilities were modern and welcoming. Room itself was a bit dated but was large with a nice bathroom and very big bed which was comfortable.
Staff were excellent, breakfast was spot on, location perfect for our plans.Bed was very very comfy
The room was cold, air con / heating didn't help. The room was quite basic and stark not even a picture on the walls. Carpets have been replaced with laminate and whilst this makes absolute sense for cleaning wise it made the room feel cold.I would put it under par against Travel Lodge or Premier Inn where as Radisson Blu used to be higher.
Location is excellent
Parking is expensive but knew that before we went.WiFi was a bit sketchy on 15th floor
