Key card kept failing to get in had go down few times to get new key, and was so noisy pipes making high pitched noises for hours in night the air con creaking noises was awful night sleep which was gutted as the room looked so nice just noises

The hotel had permanently shut down and we only learned this when we arrived and couldn’t get in. Meant we had to find a hotel last minute on a wales rugby match day. Little communication from booking.com and didn’t receive the refund ahead of the booking

The fact that I booked and paid and then they cancelled my booking a few weeks later to say there was unforeseen work on the hotel being done , however when I was driving past yesterday they was open

We arrived and with no warning or explanation the hotel was shut. We had no where to stay and this ruined our whole experience. I would like to open a complaint please.

We arrived at the hotel and it had been shut down ! I had not received any email or message warning me of this situation. I spent a large part of my day looking for alternative accommodation in Cardiff as l was staying there for a concert. Luckily l managed to find a hotel . I was not informed by the hotel or by booking .com . I feel this is very bad management on both parts .l have been a loyal customer to Booking.com for many years , and now feel its time to try another company . Also l was lucky l had free cancellation or l think l might of been charged ..l cancelled a hour before the check in time .

The hotel closed in July, I wasn't informed, reaccomodated or reimbursed.

The car park was shut and we were not given a clear answer when we asked why. We had previously been told the car park would be open.

It is in a great location, very close to the Utilita Arena for the two concerts that I was attending. Unfortunately, my booking was cancelled due to work being carried out during this period and had to find alternative accommodation.

I was disappointed that the booking was cancelled, but fully understand the situation.

Nice hotel clean staff were helpful.

Bed was uncomfortable, hard, strange headboard that moved, and no bedside socket to charge phones.we were told the wrong time for breakfast but were refunded the cost.

Good spot and close to the centre. We were comfortable for our 1-night stay.

Parking was expensive.

Location is perfect for central Cardiff

The room was boiling, no air conditioning or fan available. The TV did not work, the toilet seat was broken, there were cracks in the bath. The decor was poor. Both lifts were broken so you needed to drag bags up several flights of stairs. The car park was a nightmare. It was really unclear how to pay, checked with staff who told me to pay on leaving and then I had a fine. The whole stay was horrible.

Comfortable room right in the city centre, very friendly and helpful staff.

The room had no air conditioning so was hot - opening the window helped but then we were woken very early by construction works right outside the hotel.

Perfect location to go for a wander, see the castle, eat in a restaurant and drive to the ferry the next day.

Comfy bed, great location and pleasant/helpful staff
