In 50 acres of grounds, Rectory Farm is 2 miles from Cambridge center. This country house offers free WiFi and paid parking. Set in a grand period building, the elegant bedrooms each have a private modern bathroom and tea/coffee facilities. Rooms also feature a TV and hairdryer, and all have scenic countryside views. Rooms are located in the House or in the adjacent Chalet. Just a 5 minute drive from Cambridge's scenic College Backs, the Rectory is 2 miles from Castle Hill and Kettle's Yard art gallery. The Grand Arcade shopping center is a 10-minute drive away. Guests can take a Park and Ride bus service or walk on a footpath to the City Center.

- Had no choice but chose this hotel because the heatwave made all the downtown hotels fully booked. The surroundings are pretty though.
- Great location. Lovely building and grounds. Good staff and food. Very comfortable all round1
- A lovely escape to the country feeling after a day at work and only a short drive from the centre of Cambridge. The room was beautifully clean and well appointed and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.
Cons -
- It's in the middle of nowhere without any food or stores nearby. We didn't see any staff from our arrival till check out. Only an envelop with my name and the room key in it.
- If you are looking for a spacious room where you can bring in a few pieces of luggage, you should ask for a room that would accomodate you. We only had a small suitcase and a backpack each.
- My room (in the reception bldg.) was tiny with no air conditioning, a concern given the heat wave when I was in Cambridge. Rooms in larger, elegant manor house might be different? Hotel location is great as retreat, but not so convenient to town.
