Pros +
- Central location, easy to walk everywhere (we rarely used the metro but there was a station very close to the hotel), 24hour reception, bathrobes and slippers as well as a plethora of toiletries. Coffee machine. Complementary water was always refilled daily. Generous and comfortable hospitality
- Casa Pince has a lot of personal touches. The furnishings are comfortable, it is very clean and beautiful in its details. The staff are extremely friendly and always open to a chat. We felt very comfortable. Thank you so much!
- We loved our stay at Casa Pince! The hotel was very clean with daily housekeeping, the location was perfect just 2 minutes from the metro, and the breakfast was delicious and filling. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially Alex, who always checked if we needed anything.
Cons -
- Towels smelled like food probably due to the hotel restaurant downstairs Nothing to do with the hotel, but the streets around the hotel did not feel the safest to return late at night, maybe choose the main streets
- There was some noise at night from outside, but that’s expected so close to La Rambla.
- Room very small, with minimum access to daylight.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The Cafe was great for coffee and breakfast, which was excellent. The staff gave us good advice on travel to sites, places to eat and shop. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They had umbrellas to share when it rained. upper rooms were very quiet. The hotel was located close to all the sites in the Gothic area and Born
No nonsense set-up: online check-in and room access, comfortable bed, big shower, kettle with tea-making set, iron, and above all - location. Right in the eye of the things, particularly convenient for opera goers.
Room very small, with minimum access to daylight.
Amazing location! Very friendly staff and room was perfect for 2 people. We had a short trip but next time we plan to book this same hotel and room for 2 week vacation.
Tv was having issues with the internet so if you are planning to watch it at night it can be little problematic. But other than that everything was perfect!
Clean, good location, good staff and restaurant.
The room was warm. We had no control over the temperature and would sometimes wake up sweating at night. The hotel sent someone to get the fan running however we need air-conditioning. I believe they have had other people that have had this issue.
Very nice and clean room, perfect location close to the embankment and different sights, tasty breakfast, all necessary things in the room
It was very noisy, the walls seem quite thin, cause you can hear the neighbors as well as all the noises coming from the street, also they don’t have a lobby
Excellent location, nice room, with a good restaurant attached. The room was clean.Free umbrellas that helped with the rain.
Being in the center of the most lively part of the city can be a little noisy. But we were provided with free ear plugs.
Super-great location, easy to get to the hotel from anywhere. Cosy room, cosy atmosphere, amazing breakfast, friendly welcome at arriving.
Breakfast was expensive, but good
The room was way too hot, and no way to compensate.
The A/C was not working and the outside streets were so noisy at night the only way to cool off was to have the balcony door open which led us to a sleepless night.
The fact that the room temperature was so very HOT/HUMID. It was not a pleasant sleeping experience. The location was great as it was in the middle of everything within walking distance.
Conveniently located! Clean, neat and a great place for a short stay.
The rooms were a little cramped.
The location was ideal. Everything is nearby the hotel. The staff was kind and helpfull, especially Alex who helped as with an issue we had. Although we stayed in a very crowded area, we had no problem with the noise. They were cleaning the room everyday.
Well located off La Rambla’s. Great breakfast, very clean and lovely friendly staff.
I liked everything.

NO WIFI FOR DAYS AND NO HOT WATER FOR ONE only offered a free coffee in compensation
The location is very nice, the stuff is friendly and helpful, the room is spacious and surprisingly quiet as for the gothic quarter! The food was pretty good, especially simple dishes.
It feels like the hotel needs a bit of care, a bit of refreshing. The dishes that were not very typical for Spain were not too good, maybe it’s better to take them out of the menu and keep it simple, but good?
Casa Pince is a delightful place. It's located on a narrow street close to la Rambla and all the sites of the medieval quarter. I found it easy to walk down to the harbor and up la Rambla to Plaza de Catalunya/Plaça de Catalunya from the hotel; there is also a Metro stop around the corner. Staff at the hotel were friendly, accomodating and fun to interact with. I had requested a quiet room and was well situated on the top floor. There was a small rooftop terrace at the end of the corridor, a pleasant place to sit on mild November days. Breakfast is individually prepared in an adjoining restaurant: food was deliciious and the coffee good. For opera buffs: El Gran Teatre del Liceu is around the corner near the Metro stop.

The hotel is located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, so you only need to take a few steps to reach one of the most beautiful streets in all of Barcelona. The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot, with plenty of atmospheric streets, cafés, and historical sights nearby.
The restaurant food could be improved. Breakfasts were generally good, but on one day I found a piece of plastic film at the bottom of my toast. In addition, during dinner, I ordered an aged steak cooked medium-rare, while my wife ordered octopus with baby potatoes. The steak was average in quality, and the octopus had a very specific taste and was overly salty.
