Street outside all torn up and cordoned off due to underground utility construction-not Hotel's fault. Restaurant recommendations 50/50. Cadaques-no. 7Portes-yes!!

Broken things in room. Too expensive for that. Very hot in all common areas.

The friendliest, warmest staff- PERIOD. Upon check in, they asked us our goals of our trip, what we wanted to see etc. They then helped us plan our time. They also asked how much Spanish we wanted them to speak, based on our comfort/vs. want to practice.

Great location as a home base. Easy to catch a taxi and walk to most places. Roof top pool and bar was a plus. Safe and clean. Front desk responsive to questions/needs.

The pool should be first come first served for all hotel guests. You cannot have a policy stating "no saving seats", but then allow people to reserve seats. We were asked to vacate our pool chairs because they were "reserved", but only 3/6 showed up.

From the moment we walked in, nothing but kindness and true hospitality throughout our stay. Staff was amazing (especially whom is not only an excellent bartender, but extremely generous in his exceptional recommendations for local bars!

Breakfast was okay, our dinner was not good (so many better options within blocks of hotel) Also they claim the pool is heated it was not. SUPER COLD

Location was perfect, I could walk to almost everything I wanted to see. The room was posh, very clean and modern aesthetic; it had all of the space and amenities I needed. The staff was the best though, so helpful and friendly.

The hot water heater in my room was broken and leaked, but the staff kindly fixed that the second day. I also was told I could use the sauna after my massage, but the sauna was off and would have taken a while to get set up. I was unable to take advantage

Condition of the room at initial check in was bad (toilet was not cleaned properly and thoroughly); when we told the front desk, we were told the housekeeping would clean it, but it was left uncleaned when we came back. Unacceptable for a five star hotel.

Hotel is centrally located. Nice decor. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Concierge made great recommendations on restaurants. Housekeeping was impressive. Everything about the hotel made us feel at home. A very intimate and personable hotel.

Great location in a lovely part of Barcelona. Very friendly staff. Lovely rooftop bar and swimming pool. Yoga classes isome of the mornings.

Rooms were a bit small but nice overall .

Design of room was faulty. Placement of large mirror slanted against the wall very close to the door was a hazard, There were no grab bars in the bath so getting into and out of the tub/shower was very hazardous.
