Chic & Basic Born Boutique Hotel

WiFi never worked in room. It was so hot even with the AC it was difficult to sleep without the door to window open. Then the street is very loud. Great location.

Great location to the Born district! Funky, clean, simple hotel...we really enjoyed our stay!

The wifi in the room was not good and the pictures made the room seem better than it really was

Its OK for the price, not outstanding but OK. The common areas were nice and everyone was helpful.

Somebody was robbed just outside while we were eating breakfast. Not at night, during the morning. I read other commentators saying the area was suspect. They were not lying.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was small and had an interesting style but was clean and comfortable. Great location near many shops, restaurants and good walking sidewalks to other attractions. Enjoyed our stay!

Could not check in until 3pm (however this was stated on their webpage prior)

We loved the very funky design elements os Born Chic and Basic. Great attention to classy detail both in the rooms, the reception and in the lounge on the first floor

Clean, safe and good location

Walls are a bit thin so you can hear everything in the hallway as well as upstairs neighbors

Staff was friendly and i like the style of the room. Location was perfect.

The room. Is very big and beds very comfprtable. The decor was very chic .wink wink. We got the breakfast at the hotel twice and it was very good the reception is not i. The hotel itself but a few meters further so be aware.

The fact that the bathroom was integrated with the room without a door is not something I like. Also steps down from the bedroom. We have a situation with the room where water drop rain was entering but thy changed us to another one. Also the elevator does not go to the entrepiso whereour room was.

It was housed in an old redone mansion or palace. Rooms were very large and very clean. Breakfasts were available in the reception area and coffee was fabulous. The price was right for one night stay and the El Born/Gothic neighborhood was charming with excellent restaurant. I highly recommend.

The location is great and very walkable to most things.the room was spacious with a lovely balcony. Very quiet. Staff most helpful with every need.

It has a very nice reading place complimentary coffee tea and biscuits. Nice gym

I loved my stay at the hotel, the receptionists are very friendly, the breakfast is great, the location is very good, you can do many things on foot, the room was very clean and airy, I loved it... I recommend it 100%.

Very unique hotel with a separate street entrance for rooms next to reception. My room was huge with 2 balconies where I could look over the Born area. Overall enjoyed my stay here and would recommend.

Minor point about the cleanliness of the room. I found hairs on the floor.

The breakfast was extremely disappointing. We were informed the day after we arrived that due to a technical issue they were unable to serve breakfast as normal, instead we were given a box which included a sandwich, pastries, yogurt & a bottle of warm orange juice. We were there 4 nights & were provided with exactly the same box each breakfast.
