- Well located near Sant Antoni, the rooms are small but well renovated with a cozy decoration, and the bed was confortable
- The location was very convenient — there’s a metro station nearby, which can make getting around the city easy. Close to the hotel, there’s a small market where I was able to buy nuts and jamón as gifts for my friends and family. There are also several nice cafés within walking distance, perfect for a good breakfast.
- Location is great and it has a nice atmosphere but thats about it..
Cons -
- The walls are thins and we could hear clearly everything from the neighbors rooms. Also the shower are weirdly arranged, with no flexible shower head.
- I didn’t like that both the corridor and the room had wooden floors. Every time someone walked past the room, it sounded like they were stomping in heels right next to your head. The soundproofing is basically non-existent.The curtains didn’t block out the light, so I would strongly recommend bringing a sleep mask if you’re sensitive to light. The air conditioning wasn’t working, and opening the window wasn’t really an option because the street noise made it impossible to sleep. We were given one small 0.33L bottle of water upon arrival and never received any more during the stay — additional bottles were available only for an extra charge. Considering that a 0.5L bottle costs less than one euro at the kiosk next door, it’s hard to understand what the hotel gains from this kind of “service.”My large bath towel was taken on the first day and never replaced.Maybe I just haven’t stayed in a three-star hotel in a while, and perhaps this is standard for this category — but overall, it was disappointing.
- Room was terrible, extremely hot on the entire floor and opening windows would nog help as they are overlooking a small shaft where all the cooking gasses come up and no circulation. Airco did not work. Maybe other rooms are better but mine was very uncomfortable

The bed was comfy and the room acceptably quiet. It was only about a 10 minute walk to a Metro station
For the price I paid I expected better accomodation. The room was dark with no windows although there was an opening to an internal shaft. We were next to the lift so obviously this was noisy and due to floorboards everywhere cleaners were exceptionally noisy. It’s obviously an old hotel with wide floorboards in the room but this leaves massive gaps where dirt can accumulate and the boards were so squeaky i had to create a stepping stone route to prevent noise to neighbours below. Despite this though, the rooms were cleaned well and the beds made nicely. The bathroom was rustic but clean however the shower spouted cold water about every 10 seconds which made for a lively experience. There was a restaurant on site which was too posh for us as we were casual so we searched elsewhere for food and drink but this was very limited as the area isn’t really touristy. Great links to the Metro though
Poor
The hotel was tasteful and clean; however my friends and I noticed that the staff working the breakfast area and the concierge were impatient, unpleasant, and unfriendly. Whilst waiting for information at the front desk I saw one of the young people at the desk, treat a customer with disrespect. Seeing that was quite shocking as it was a customer that he was speaking to, and the customer was clearly much older than him. I watched in shock as I had never seen someone in the hospitality industry treat a customer that way. Another incident that was really upsetting was when I sat down at a table for breakfast and this middle aged, short blonde lady very rudely told me that I “can’t sit there” and that the table was for lunch. As a new customer, I obviously have no idea as to which tables are used for which meal – and when addressing this issue to a customer I think it’s important that they do this kindly. I felt like I was being scolded by a teacher, rather than being welcomed as a guest. The same lady also scolded me and my friends for trying to take a yogurt with us to go. I have never heard anyone at any hotel tell me I “can’t take food outside”. This was not a plate of food – just a cup of yoghurt.I genuinely think that treating customers with kindness and respect is a key factor in making or breaking their experiences, especially at the hotel they stay at. I did not feel welcomed or respected. I felt I was in a hostile environment. I truly advise your hotel work towards this issue, as it seemed to be reoccurring.
Passable
Nobody paid attention to your request, even though we reminded the reception twice to have the room cleaned. However, when we returned to the hotel in the evening, the room was still untidy and dirty, and the towels had not been changed. In the end, as an apology, we were given a complimentary breakfast.
The breakfast was ok
It was run down I would say its more a 2 star than 3 star. It smealt of smoke in the corridors, and toilet in the room gave out a sewage smell.
Looks exactly like the pictures, staff very nice, comfortable pillows
Very thin walls, almost felt like the neighbours were in your room
The hotel was clean, well-organized, and comfortable. It is located in a great area, which made getting around very easy. Overall, a very pleasant stay. What I liked the most was the fact that after checking out, it was possible to store luggage for the whole day.
This was a nice hotel- staff was super friendly, room was decent- very clean, the location was close to everything I wanted- for the price you couldn't beat it. I also loved the shower- I'm not sure it was that different from my previous hotel, but it brought me life. I didn't have the breakfast or try the restaurant, but it looked really good. Also I liked some of the antique elements of the hotel- it had a good vibe to it (other than the AI images used on some of the posters downstairs). I'd stay again.
The walls were a bit thin, that didn't really come into play much during my stay, but something to consider. There was also no gym or amenties like that. Nothing too major at the end of the day.
Quirky - very typical of Barcelona. Very clean and cosy. Lovely room with a small balcony.
I really liked the service - we where not super happy with the first room but they where able to help us fix this right away. The next was a big room and we had an Amazing time
I know it was not in the city sentre (Where we like to hang out) El Born mm- But its easy to get a cab from here. And during the day is woth a walk down to the pinchos street mm.
Great find - nice staff and excellent restaurant.
No USB charging in the room.
Far from the downtown. No refrigerator or T.V in the room.No rubbish basket even in the whole room except in the toilet. The toilet walls weren’t that clean. No water bottles added to the room everyday.
Very clean and comfortable very large space
The walls were a bit thin in the rooms I could hear other people
Terrace
No room service. Sheets weren’t clean and bed was stiff.
room was fine on the surface, but the bath had huge stains on it, the taps fell apart when i went to use them and the sockets were loose.I had to wait over an hour to check into my room and when i went to get to my room the elevator was broken meaning i had to lug my 20kg suitcase up 5 flights of stairs. The television had all of the main streaming platforms which was great and the room came with a kettle 2 tea bags and 2 coffee sachets, there was no milk and they provided 2 paper cups to have with these beverages which disintegrated when filled with boiling water. The hotel highlighted they want to be 'green' however i found this counter productive. The tea caddy also did not have any milk which would have been a nice touch.Amazing location, the area was wonderful and 'The Coffee' next door was the perfect place to get a real hot drink after a long travel day.
when checking in, the manager was quite demanding and rude. I was left standing for 20 minutes after he called me over to check in. He seemed displeased that I was only staying one night and showed this in giving me the room furthest away without any access to an elevator.
Location is good
The hotel staff are busy looking the other side. Their attention leaves much to be desired. There is no lobby in the hotel where you can wait and it seems that the busy restaurant at the entrance takes all precedence. Rooms are yearning for some refurbishment and have a dirty appearance. Old furniture and no minibar.
Location, very nice staff, easy to reach by any means of transport
It's very noisy. The hotel has incredibly thin walls. You can hear absolutely everything. It's impossible to sleep at night, especially if the neighbors are taking a shower. The room is always noisy. It's the same throughout the hotel, in every room. We asked to change rooms, but it only got worse.
Location was great and the hotel was very nice to stay in with a comfortable mattress.
Pretty much no soundproofing between the walls and doors but wasn't terrible tbh, even on new years.
