- Excellent location Big room with nice view of the cathedral Bathroom well equipped Staff are amazing
- The location was fantastic, right in the gothic quarter just a block from Las Rambles. The room was large and we had a small private patio with a table and chairs which I wasn’t expecting. There was a safe that you need a key for (not sure if there is charge for that as we didn’t check). There is also a small fridge. We had room 107, I don’t think all of the rooms have the little patio. There were two beds and a small desk as well.
Cons -
- Honesty of booking.com
- I thought the hotel was fine and nothing that I can think of to be changed. We could here the people above us, but think the person was just a heavy walker as we didn’t hear our next door neighbors .
- The bed was very uncomfortable, the Aircon was extremely loud, and on the third floor where I was I could hear what sounded like the laundry being dragged across the corridor at 3am both nights I was there, waking me up. The walls are very thin so if you're a light sleeper good luck.

The location and friendlessness of the staff was excellent. I especially enjoyed talking with John! The hotel had a 12 noon check-out that was convenient. It is a small cozy hotel that has clean rooms, comfy beds, a hot shower with good water flow, and cold air conditioning. Restaurants, cafes and bakeries are steps nearby and also it’s just a two minute walk from the Metro. I had a small frig/chiller in my room that was a welcomed surprise. Some rooms are on the small side, so it's important to look at the details of what you are selecting. Can't wait to visit Barcelona again and book this hotel!!
The room was clean and the location is ideal.

I love the location, the rooms are quaint. I’ve stayed there twice, will continue going back.
Location was very convenient
Old building, old mattress old pillows old blanket old sheet everything very old and not very clean .
Every things are great The hotel room is exactly like 5 stars hotel roomThe location in the middle of the town The whole team is cooperative especially Mr Flannels We I go back to Barcelona I will stay in your hotel again Thank you for your service and good luck for all of team and management
Close to things we wanted to get to easily by cab or bus. Great food places nearby. Highly recommend this even though there’s construction going on on that street. It did not stop us from enjoying.
The Construction did make it harder for the cab to deliver us initially and for us to leave with our luggage, but we work through it. Nothing is perfect in this world and we worked through it.
Nice hotel in a very central location. The twin room was big and had a balcony. Even though the hotel is almost on the main street, it was very quiet. The elevator and air conditioning worked well, and rooms were cleaned daily.
The beds could be more comfortable, and the pillows were very flat.
Location, staff, comfortable bed, hot water air conditioning
No coffee service, view of a wall, small - but fine for one person
Spacious room within walking distance of the metro and La Boqueria. Very good value for your money, highly recommend. (They were better than the other hotel we booked along the same street).
If your room is facing the street, there could be noise in the middle of the night due to rowdy/loud people, but nothing unmanageable.
Handy, central, small hotel off Las Ramblas. Our room was large with a balcony on the street. Good value for money for a short stay.
The Bathroom doorframe had some dryrot on the door frame with bugs inside.
Location was good.
Lack of hot running water the first day or so. Safe was broken. My wallet was stolen from my room.
Simple property. the bed was surprisingly comfortable. great location. helpful and kind staff.
Location was amazing. A short walk from metro station (the L3 line is good or getting around). In the Gothic Quarter but quite walkable to a lot of sights. Staff OK, Room as expected. Good shower when we had hot water. Room was clean and cleaning staff were nice. Elevator small but useful.
Bed very uncomfortable, we did ask for extra pillows and they were supplied and much better than the original ones that were useless. We knew there was no fridge but would be really handy to have a small one. The hot water was not working on our second last day, I think this is a fairly common occurance and though they are obviously doing there best to restore it they did not handle our initial query very well and wasted our time.
Amazing location, room had a patio, beds were comfy.
The room didn’t have a mini fridge or a kettle.
Very central
I contacted the hotel to advise I was coming a night earlier and they said they could accommodate it and when i arrived at 2am they didn’t have a room for me. I was very nearly stranded in a strange city as a solo female traveller. My room was extremely basic. The air con didnt work my window went to a weird chimney. I loved BCN but not this hotel.
Great location, ok price
Small bed
Hotel has nice locations and check-in and check-out time is very nice, as we stayed for 1 night and basically had 23h to be in hotel, that meant a lot. Also they allowed us to leave our bags in hotel for free while we explore the city on the last day. That was super nice.
The staff is not communicating well, so there is a cold welcome let's say, I can tell it for 2/3 from personnel, only one guy was friendly. We had issues with sound as the room next to us started partying and I called 3 times reception to warn them. The guy firstly did nothing and later "went to wrong room" and didn't hear anything, so he returned to reception and continued listening to the radio. I had to go there myself to ask him again to warn people to be silent. And luckily it made some impact. Sound isolation is terrible and you might have problems to get good rest. The bed was okeish.
