It was prepaid room including taxes but the hotel collected additional taxes in the name of tourist tax. This was not disclosed ahead of time.

Location is great. Price is good

It was close to the things I needed to attend.

The hotel was completely HORRIBLE. SERVICE WAS BAD AND THE ROOM HAD RATS

Unit was in need of repair. Toilet not bolted down securely, water damage, safe sitting on shelf and not secured. The shower set-up was poor and water would escape and cover the floor, etc. The elevators seemed to need repair and rode rough and shaky.

The location is close to a metro station

This is at best a one star hotel masquerading as a three star hotel. They promised us two double beds but sprang a surprise when we checked in. They did however try to remedy it but in an ineffective manner.

Shower TV location

The first thing that we loved about Sunotel Aston was the employees who were nice to us from the beginning until the end of our stay in Barcelona. Besides being nice, they were always helpful. The facilities of the Hotel were also clean and looked good, modern even for a 3 star hotel. The room itself also provides a smart TV which ends up being a plus.The breakfast had a lot of diversity which we enjoyed and it also had some traditional elements from Barcelona.Lastly, even though it was January, we visited the rooftop and we think that it is a great summer spot that the guests could fully enjoy, with a beautiful view over the city.

Even though the room was filled with amenities, which we enjoyed, we thought the room was a little bit outdated and could use some maintenance.

Pool and hot tub. Staff was very friendly & extremely helpful. Held our luggage after checkout. Breakfast included, especially cereal with various seeds to add, plus good milk potions & fruit.

Couple of later hours with no kids around at pool & hot tub. Breakfast while nice to have included was underwhelming based on advertising from around the world. The two days I ate breakfast there, early well stocked. Mid-morning did not do a good job of keeping options stocked (cereal & milk options not kept up). Restaurant for later dining closed for renovation.

Good breakfast, good staff, Metro and bus station in a walking distance.

In the next room, somebody's alarm clock that rang every 5 minutes.

Very good location and bus station for main bus station is right in front of the door.

The some of the amenities are old fashioned. The room is bit older and needs renovation. Could be bigger, but comfortable and cosy.

Smelly drains in bathroom. Had to keep running water to clear the smell Noisy family in room beside me on my last night when I had to get up early. Didn’t get any sleep

I loved how close to metro stations it is. You can easily get anywhere. The pool temperature was great and the staff was very helpful. 10/10 would stay there again.

Excellent location, very well connected to the city center and other parts of town. The neighborhood is great too. The hotel is very comfortable and clean, with exceptionally friendly staff, from reception to housekeeping. Based on the score, I probably wouldn’t have booked it if I’d had more options, but I’m really glad I did. This hotel is seriously underrated.

Hotel was clean. But very outdated. It needs renovation but nothing too uncomfortable or bad. Staff was amazing. Room was decent size for two people, with mini fridge and good bathroom. The room was cleaned every single day of our stay so it was really good. Lobby was realy cosy. location is realy good. its walk distance from metro, like 2-3 minutes away. Amazing restaurant nearby, and bus stop in front of the hotel. Room amanties was realy good, Bathrob, slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, Shaving kit everything was realy good and very comfortable. Conclusion if you stay in this hotel you wont be disapointed, and it wont be reason for any discomfort. Price=Value

Breakfast is very poor. Every day same products. Even one thing wasnot changed in our five days stay.Its not bad in taste but not good either. Coffe was pretty bad. Outdoor pool closes at 9 pm so if you are planning spending rest time in late evening there it is not possible. lightning was terrible in the room. Every single light source used outlets so if i wanted to charge my phone by bed i had two unplug light to charge my phone. Terrible design choice.

It's stuffy in the room, check-in process is complicated & you required to fill-in a lot of forms

Location was accessiable by 2 buses and close to a metro station (5 minutes walk). they have a a wheelchair access which is good for people in need. the also provide water in the reception which is beneficial on your way out ot way up

the bed was not comfortable at all, it's light nad moves a lot, the water is not drinkable from the tab, they do not provide a bottle of water daily. the kettle is upon availability not present in the room. the elevator noise when opening the door is easily heard in all rooms (too loud)

Staff very friendly and helpful.Bed very comfy.

Room in need of a makeover, very basic. No coffee making facilities. Expensive for what it was.
