It was perfect. Room, bath products, value for money, balcony. Could not have been better.

That my stay was too short.

It's close to Metro, Aerobus, Placa de Catalunya

1. Value for money, you can get a Airbnb room for less money. 2. Security aspect, the fact I had to carry a key to access bathroom, room, floor every time.3. Room was tiny, bed was tiny (I'm 193cm) there was no view (not like advertising pictures on a booking.com website). I could see the building wall from the only window in the room. I felt almost like in a prison cell. I'm never coming back there.4. Additional payment "Tourist tax" upon arrival is a joke.

Excellent location and very clean, comfortable and well designed rooms. A mix of heritage and convenience in the rooms. Staff were extremely kind and accommodating. Also very responsive to any questions. I will recommend this to my friends.

The location was fantastic, and across the road was the metro, with another two in walking distance. You are in the university district, which is beautiful. A rooftop restaurant with a beautiful sunset a few doors down. I loved the place. Beautiful interior with interesting features. I had the single room, small but with everything I needed, and with the extra space with the roof terrace. Staff brilliant and communication frequent and clear.

I would have liked to have the roof terrace open earlier. 10am is too late.

Very convenient location, near many bars, restaurants and transportation options. Nice staff, fast check-in, clean and organized hotel. Good amenities, replenished daily.

The bed was a little too narrow and too soft for my taste. But nothing major.

Friendly and helpful staff, nice cozy environment, stylish and comfy room, great location, and a small but beautiful elevator!

The room was a bit humid, even when the outside air was warm and crisp. The bathroom is really small and placed very near to the bed, so anyone in the room can hear the noises from the bathroom very clearly, which could be embarrassing for some people. The half-transparent sliding door and wall of the bathroom is kinda tricky to use, and cannot be closed completely. I had no problem with this since I stayed with my wife, but watch out if you're planning to stay with a person with whom you'd rather not share your bathroom noises and naked body silhouette :)

Early check-in was great because I needed to leave my luggage and to take a shower. Thanks to the housekeeping! Staff was fantastic since the beginning, really usefull and clear about everything and very kind. I will return here for sure. Thank you all!

Location was stellar directly off of the University and Placa de Catalunya. Staff was supremely helpful and understanding. Room was comfortable and a great value.

We loved our stay at DestinationBCN. The room was absolutely beautiful. We felt like we had stepped back in time looking at the architecture.It is extremely accessible and we were in walking distance to many tourist locations and incredible restaurants. I highly recommend DestinationBCN.

The key room little bit complicated to use and one day my key room wasn't work and I was lock outside my room after I had shower and I was waiting for reception to came and fix it, luckily it's fix.

Good location and nice room. Great place for breakfast just next door to the building.

Some noise from the subway, but on the other hand being close to subway was what I wanted.

Really beautiful and comfortable rooms, and the location is ideal - 2min walk to the metro and a easy 10-15min walk to a ton of nearby attractions. Perfect for a solo stay, I had a double room but I think it would be a tight squeeze for 2 people. Super clean, neat, and just really lovely. I also have to commend the owners on their communication - there's no reception desk, but they welcome you at the front door and walk you through everything.

Only two things - the hot water in my shower was a little temperamental, and the lock on the door from the main staircase is a nightmare, took me a good 3min every time to figure out how to unlock it.

For being a central location, it was pretty quiet. We had the enclosed balcony which gave us more space and able to see the view of the city. we felt safe and was located in the center of the city so it was very convenient to get around. The staff was very friendly and accommodating!

The location is fantastic and the room was clean and well kept.

Horrible noise. Metro trains are going right under the building so it's like an earthquake every 10 minutes until late at night. The rooms also have poor noise isolation so you can hear other quests and the street noise very strongly.

It was a good location. There are no shortage of shops and transport links. Aircon was powerful, which was helpful as temperatures were extremely high when I visited in August. The room I had has some initial wow factors with an extra space overlooking the main street. This isn't a hotel or an aparthotel, it is just rooms and service through an app or WhatsApp, yet they were very responsive. Room as cleaned and tidied daily. Although a central location it was quiet.

The room was small and quite cramped. Because it was so hot the extra space with chairs and a table was unusable. No desk or space for sitting down other than the bed. I think the Metro must run under or near the building as there was a regular rumble! Overall, I felt a bit underwhelmed and that it was overpriced.
