Renaissance Barcelona Hotel

Honestly, the location was great, and some of the staff were really friendly.

The things that I did not like about this hotel were specifically the rooms. They weren¿t very clean at all and very outdated. The floors were highly scratched, and very dirty. There was still hairs on the toilet seat when I got to our room.

This is not a five star hotel. There were people walking above our room all night. Rm 725. The air did not work well.

The bathroom seemed a little dated. The bathroom tile walls needed a scrubbing. The walls seemed thin.

Location and quality are both excellent. The 1st floor staff are helpful and friendly.

Great location. You can catch the train from airport and be dropped off two minutes away for 4.10 euros. Good choices of food are nearby and attractions as well. Definitely would stay here again.

it was cold and we were provided a portable heating unit. That was a bit funny for a 5-star hotel

The location as it is close to Catalunya square and quiet at the same time !

Wifi was very bad and very expensive. Shower head leaked everywhere. The safe wasn't working initially. The room was small.

We did not have heat. The only way the room went over 18 degrees was from space heaters wee had to request.

$19.95/day for wifi?!!! Even McDonalds provides its customers with free wifi. No way should a full-service hotel charge its guests for wifi.

One of the concierges gave us wrong info re: a restaurant. Disappointed...maybe he was receiving a kickback??

The location

the noise, there is too many noise we stayed at the 7th floor and then they change us to the 8th floor and was exactly the same noise. the temperature, is amazing that the room is HOT all the time not even the staff knows how to control the heat.

The bath room door is not wood but glass, and the bath room is quite small, the furniture is not enough.

Hotel employee at front desk was fabulous, very quick & efficient. Room fairly good, decent size w a large bathroom. Had read a few reviews about rooms being dark, but I do not agree. They also had a bottle of sparkling waiting, nice gesture. Nice Gym. Great staff.

Small technical problem. They billed my card for room, despite my room being prepaid. I realized this a few days later & had to call them back a couple of times. Normally I'd be v annoyed but hotel employee was v quick in her response & assured to fix this asap.
