Catalonia Castellnou Hotel

The fact it was located in a fun area and near the subway which made getting around Barcelona a breeze .

Great place, a bit tough to find, even by our taxi driver, but an excellent place I wouldn't hesitate going back to.

What wasn't to like? Close to the train, close to great restaurants, fabulous layout, excellent staff, friendly neighborhood, reasonably priced. Absolutely would stay again.

Nice hotel in good area of Barcelona. The Argentinian guy (Vladimir?) at the reception was very helpful and professional, an example for customer service. Can recommend the breakfast.

Room size too small and doesn’t look as the picture or the size mentioned in the room description and bathroom was tiny.

The sitting areas (lounge, breakfast and reading areas) convenient, clean and quiet. The breakfast was excellent.

Accommodation itself (I was rebooked to Park Putxet hotel in the same chain) was okay, reception staff also without a problem.

I had problems with the booking and communication with the hotel. I was rebooked to a different hotel in the chain without any prior notice. The reception said they did not have any contact details for me, but I have already checked-in online and therefore my details were available + I could have been contacted through Booking.com. Also I asked in the booking to have company details included on an invoice, but I received the invoice without it - it is not a big deal, but just added to the poor booking experience.

Loved the location! It was so great to borrow beach towels, chairs and Sun umbrellas. The room was so clean and quiet. We chose to get breakfast at a nearby cafe as we don’t like the coffees from the push button machines.

Location.

Every day,the guest rooms will help change towels and make the beds. The location is still a bit far from the city center. There's not much good food nearby. I was given room 104 on the first floor, next to it is a public toilet, which is a bit noisy. The sound insulation is just so-so.

It's understandable that the mini bar charges, but the hotel prices are not cheap. At least free water should be provided.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly.

We had the misfortune to arrive very (plane delayed by the weather) and it would have been nice to be able to have something to eat.

They charged 40 euros my card without my permission after one day of chek out , when I asked them why you charged 40 euros my card card without my permission they said that you have visit the hotel mini bar that was their bil but the truth is this I never visit the hotel mini bar

We had a very good stay at Hotel Catalonia Castellnou. The hotel is beautiful and our room was newly renovated, modern, and very comfortable.A special shout-out to Daniel at the front desk. He was incredibly nice and knowledgeable, giving us great tips and going out of his way to be helpful.I would definitely stay here again.

Housekeeping supervisor and cafeteria lady's was very rude on front of costumer and the cafeteria lady not manners very upset person. Front desk very helpfully and nice and friendly

I went for a vacation trip to Barcelona and really enjoyed the stay here. The staff are very friendly and helpful whenever asked about travel routes. Communication was easy and they are always welcoming. The room was super comfortable and spacious for me and my mother. Very clean and nice homely environment around the property with a cute little balcony. The metro station is 3 minutes walking distance from here which takes you directly to the city center. Absolutely enjoyed and loved the stay.

Everything was pretty good except for the fact that the telephone wasn't working so I had to order room service by going down myself and sadly they mixed up the room number and delayed in serving the dinner in my room which I had ordered. I had to go down after an hour to ask about it. Other than this, everything was pretty good and commendable.
