Easy access to metro station

Initial room was really in bad disarray, wallpaper peeling, wooden floor chipped to the point I would not dare to be barefooted. Really outdated and odd configuration in bathroom. Window was directly (and very close to the window I room right in front.

Cleanliness, interior design

We asked for iron multiple times and were told that it was unavailable. There should be a limit on the time someone is able to use the iron so others can use it. Also, we asked the front desk for fresh bath towels and received pool towels.

I liked the room service and breakfast buffet.

I wish there were floors that were nonsmoking. I joined the rewards club the first day of my stay but was not able to get any of the discounts.

Hotel was in excellent condition and kept up nicely. Stayed one night. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Was upgraded to a suite with terrace and mini hot tub upon arrival. Rooms were bright and airy and beds was incredibly comfortable and affordable. Could not really ask for more.

Only down side was that breakfast was not included, but at the price, it is understood.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the fifth floor is currently undergoing remodeling. The hotel is still selling all of the rooms on the fourth floor, directly under the aforementioned construction. We were told by reception that construction would start at 10am. I'm writing this review at 8am, and construction directly above our room has already started, waking us up. The receptionist also said, "You definitely won't need a wakeup call," to us, a rude and disrespectful comment. The hotel is also located on a hill, a good 8- to 10-minute walk away from the metro station. The current rooms they are selling are outdated, and the walls are incredibly thin, so you can hear the neighboring units. I don't usually write negative reviews, but I feel others need to be warned about the stupidity/greed of this hotel in selling rooms directly below active construction, especially for €80/night and above. They shouldn't sell any rooms on the entire fourth floor if construction is directly above. Worst hotel experience we've had in Europe. Peru, where we came from, most recently had much better hotels for even one-fifth of the price. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Good location, clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff.

Excellent location near bus and L3 metro. Large, clean rooms. Mercado & Pharmacy nearby. Our room had a lovely view

The staff seemed a little snooty upon check-in, but overall the hotel itself is fantastic. The location is great, and the room was clean and cozy. I'd come back again.

They upgrade us to a beautiful room with private pool, the staff were amazing and helpful

Public Parking a bit complicated to find but this is not the hotel fault

The breakfast was wonderful but expensive.

Location too far from center and public transportation. Spent a fortune on Uber. Staff couldn't help navigate public transportation. Very unhelpful. Rooms tiny. First room shower broken. Got upgraded supposedly to a superior room. There was nothing superior about it. Would never stay there again.

Loved my stay here. Breakfast was lovely and room was well appointed. Nice to have a pool available.

Location is a bit further from Park Guell than I expected.

Room very small and located on the 6th floor close to the elevator. IMPOSSIBLE to sleep due to the heavy noise of this OLD elevator. The room doesn't have a WINDOW on the street but a small one that face on an internal small court. Hotel doesn't have parking in the nearby, and public transport(metro ) is not so close . Price is too high compare

The bathtub, it felt dangerous to come out.

The breakfast buffet was really great! Rooftop had a beautiful view and the beds were comfortable!

Every time i took a shower the entire bathroom was flooded, same issue was with the bathroom sink. The hotel is super far from the center so you better pay that extra money and stay in the city center than pay taxi every time you need to go out especially when it was really hard to find a taxi or uber that would come there. Breakfast was not included in the price, and they didn’t even have a hair dryer, the one in the room would turn off every few seconds and needed time to turn back on. It was more like a motel than a hotel, their bar would close at 10:30pm so u can’t even hang out there for the evening

the hotel is great and has facilities better than 3 star hotel with spa and pool.

this is my second time in this hotel the first time i was upgraded to a premium room which had a totally different feel in the room itself. This time i was given a regular room and unfortunately the room smelt very musty. Even after staying there two nights and keeping the windows open all the time, the smell would not go away.

the facilities are much better than 3 star hotel with spa and pool and the location is great. Staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. I was upgraded to a premium room and that room felt like a good 4 star hotel room with many amenities and a really good room
