Hotel Boutique La Pau

Well located in a safe area in Barcelona. Staff arevfriendly, knowledgeable, and wonderfully attentive. Tom and all the Front Desk Team helped to make this stay exceptional! Room was quiet, clean, and well stocked. Breakfast has a variety of delicious items. Highly recommend!

I liked everything, from the installation to the staff, they were all very friendly, atent and helpful. The room was very nice, comfortable bed, spacious and clean.

What a great find! At the last minute my sister and I decided to change the location of our stay to the Gothic Quarter and we were so glad we did. Hotel La Pau is a gem in a quiet area close to many historic sites and loads of wonderful restaurants. It is a well designed and maintained property with large rooms. We booked a luxe room and were upgraded to a suite which was huge. Bed was large and super comfy. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The best part of this hotel however was it's wonderful staff in particular Val, Eddie and Leila. Aside from being friendly and interesting to talk with, they were extremely helpful in providing suggestions on places to visit and eat. Thanks to all for a great stay in Barcelona!

The the hotel is in the the best possible location. I was able to walk to most areas in 15 to 20Min or less. It is a street over from La Rambla also which is convenient . The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and modern with lovely design and elegant feel. You start your arrival with complimentary champagne and the rest is history

Location couldn’t have been better! Location, staff and the room sizes were great.

Breakfast and coffee! With the scale of the hotel, the coffee should at least have been fresh in the morning and not out of a machine. Breakfast was extremely limited.

This was a very stylish establishment with an excellent location for tourists. Easy access to public transit, the Ramblas, Old City sights. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When they had a “maintenance problem” with our original room they handles it well and have us a discounted smaller room until ours was ready. Breakfast was really good too.

Our only problem was the shower drain did not drain very well. While rolled start multiple times but it wasn’t clear they believed us.

Great service, staff were very accommodating and super nice—ability to make a reservation from their recommendations with a great view. Everything was great.

Rooftop had no vibe at all. It would be nice to have a bit of music or something up there. It was nice up there though so not a big deal! Rooms were a bit small, but expected. Not the best soundproofing.

Everything ! Really a perfect hotel. I have never seen perfect 5 star ratings of hotel before, but now I see why they have it! I’m so sad I didn’t stay longer. All much better than in photos . I stay in hotels 300 days a year and this is one of the best. Super comfortable bed, very fast WiFi, dark shades, strong ac, fantastic bathroom, ideal location. But what sets this place apart is the people. I am horrible at names but maybe isabella and Thomas ? And one other ? All went above and beyond while maintaining warmth and kindness. Next time I come to Barcelona, I’ll only stay here

Bathroom was a bit tight with inward opening door making it difficult to get to the toilet.

What a wonderfully-beautiful hotel within walking distance of the beach and other favourite tourist spots. The staff were always happy to see us and the breakfast was fabulous. We choose a room with a terrace and we’re not disappointed by the layout and the perfect mattress. The rooftop pool and loungers and chairs were a welcome relief after hot outings.

The welcome, the friendliness of the stuff, the "honesty bar" and cute backyard terrace. I didn't have time to see the rooftop but hear it's beautiful too

A little desk or mini table in the room would be great since I had to take work calls and I was sitting with my laptop on the bed
