This iconic, Modernist building is located at the head of Barcelona’s chic Passeig de Gracia Avenue. It has a sauna and gym, and a roof terrace with a pool and excellent views. The luxurious Casa Fuster is a monument in itself, built in 1908 by the Modernist architect, Lluis Domènech i Montaner, and has the status of Specialty Monument. His work, including the hotel, is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. The elegant air-conditioned rooms at Casa Fuster G.L Monumento feature satellite TV and a mini-bar. The rooftop bar and spa bathtub were highlights. The staff went out of their way to make my first trip to Spain exceptional.
Charming hotel, very nice staff, we booked a junior suite with two small children and it was perfect. The rooftop pool is the perfect size for kids and a nice place to drink a cocktail and relax.
